First of all I am chinese, so I would like to share that the food here is just okay while the price is a bit icky. The service here was horrible. There is not a lot of tables and we waited at the front door for about 5 minutes until a server finally came.
The menu IS very unclear about the pricing for example, the combo for 3 person and 4 person are priced at 52$ and 82$ but it would actually be 82$ and 120 something dollars while the waitress did not explain.
Next thing is what infuriated me the most. After we ordered everything and the appetizers and the fish came. We were told the the rice are not ready yet and we would have to wait for about 20 minutes is the exact words that the waitress said. We waited for about 10 minutes and the waitress came by and asked us if we want to replace the rice with another appetizer. We said no and we told her we would wait for the rice to be ready. Cuz obviously as an Asian who eats rice for breakfast lunch and dinner you just need rice obviously. But then she came by the third time saying that she would offer us an appetizer on the house. And that’s what we did. And guess what? 30 minutes later we were told that the cook messed up the rice cooker and there was no rice . NO RICE which is the main meal that every Asian eats. What was even more pesting was her attitude. She knew that we wouldn’t get rice after all so tried replacing it with an appetizer . Not only this, the people next to us who came earlier have been waiting for their rice longer than us, and she is still telling them that they would be ready soon ” 马上就好了 ”. Like are you for real ?
Last but not least when we got our checks which was on the computer, THIS LADY REALLY PUT A 18 DOLLAR TIP ON US. Like we didn’t get the option to add a tip ( not like we would for their terrible service ) But what adding tip for yourself ? Do you really think that you deserve any at all? Like you could have just told us there wouldn’t be rice since the start. For $92 dollar for three people, doesn’t want a...
Read moreThe food is amazing, but combined with the service, it's not worth the money. Here’s what happened at dinner today:
When my wife, two kids, and I were about 80% finished with our meal, the server, who is also the restaurant owner, placed the check on our table without us asking. This felt strange since typically, you don’t receive the check until you request it. I noticed that the four adult customers at the table next to us, who had been eating when we just arrived, received their check as well.
After we finished eating, I asked the server why she put the check on our table without being asked. She looked surprised, and her response was: "We are a small restaurant with only 10 tables. But feel free to take your time." Clearly, this was her way of saying, "Please hurry up so we can turn over the table," without explicitly saying it.
As customers, are we supposed to be concerned about how many tables a restaurant has? Hell no. We pay our hard-earned money not just for the food, but also for the service. We deserve the right to finish our meal without feeling rushed. While it's understandable that a restaurant wants to serve more people to increase revenue, the better approach is to expand to a bigger space instead of pressuring customers to leave quickly.
When we were leaving, the owner said to me in an attempt to comfort me: "Next time you’re here, I won’t do this to you again." Clearly, she intends to continue doing this to other customers.
No other restaurant at the same price level has ever done this to me before (not even those at lower levels). This is why I said in the beginning, "combined with the service, it's not worth the money."
If you care about this and don't want to feel rushed when you are eating, definitely look...

We felt we were being rushed by the Asian waitress the second we entered the place. We got seated and practically had the menu thrown at us, waitress left in a hurry before we even had the chance to ask for water. When the waitress came back later, we asked for water. While mid-sentence, she left again before we could say no ice. She was very irate and impatient when we asked for clarification on menu items. A Hispanic lady took over bring us the food after the orders were placed.
Once it’s time to pay, the Asian waitress returned. We used a credit card to pay our bill on their tablet. The waitress took the card, pressed a few buttons on their machine and rushed us to sign the tablet. “Just sign it, just sign it, you just have to sign” she said. After we sign the tablet, we asked about what to press to leave a tip, she said that 18% tip has been included in the bill. SHE AUTO CHARGED US 18% TIP FOR A PARTY OF TWO WITHOUT NOTIFYING US, THIS IS THEFT. I don’t know why she think she is entitled to make that kind of decision for us. AGAIN, WE WERE NOT GIVEN A CHOICE TO SELECT TIP AMOUNT BECAUSE SHE CHOOSES TO GIVE HERSELF AN 18% TIP THEN HANDED US THE TABLET AND RUSHED US TO SIGN.
We asked the waitress why she felt it was okay for her to do this, she stated that it was the norm and that is how things are. We asked her if she felt the service she gave was worth 18% tip, her attitude got even worse then she started ignoring us.
The restrooms are filthy, I can’t imagine them having a clean kitchen if their public facilities...
