Waldorf Astoria Chicago ｜ Michelin Key Hotel? This Is It? 🗝️

Junior Suite with Fireplace The room felt like a generic highway motel — carpet was dirty. Looks like most of the budget went to the common areas, but even those weren’t particularly luxurious. Nearly half the rooms have zero view — just facing another building less than 10m away, since the hotel occupies the lower floors (high-rise apartments above — classic North American design 🙂↔️). The only highlight was the fireplace — a Chicago winter essential 🔥 Service was practically nonexistent — emails and app messages took half an hour to get a response. Breakfast was passable if you think of it as free… basically paying for the location at this point. What really baffles me: How did the Park Hyatt and St. Regis in the same city not get a Michelin Key?
