Washington DC Food Review|Shabu Plus 🍲✨
📍 Shabu Plus 2321 18th St NW, Washington, DC 20009 💰 $115 per person Winter is the perfect time for a warm, cozy hot pot! ❤️🔥❤️🔥 Shabu Plus is located in Adams Morgan—super comfortable atmosphere, Japanese-inspired decor, and spacious seating. The staff were super nice and patiently helped us choose dishes. 😊 We ordered the Duck Bone Collagen Broth—a house recommendation. The broth was light and clean, not overpowered by seasoning. All the ingredients were fresh! Check out the Tartare in the third pic—refreshing and tasty! 🥩 For meat, we tried the A5 Miyazaki Wagyu NY Strip Loin—melt-in-your-mouth tender, but honestly, the price was steep and maybe not necessary 🥲 I’d recommend sticking with Ribeye, Pork Belly, or Pork Loin—great quality and more reasonable! 👍 The Chicken, Han Breast, and Jumbo Gulf Prawns were just okay—better to focus on beef. We ended with udon noodles—simple but satisfying! We didn’t order a ton, but still left full—no worries about going hungry! 🤣 Overall, the price is on the higher side—not the best value, though the ingredients and flavors were solid. Note: Gratuity is automatically included, so no need to add extra tip.
