Weekend Eats｜Hidden Gem Spanish Restaurant in Chicago 🫒

Happy Friday!! Another fun double date with friends 🍸. Tried a Spanish restaurant that’s been saved on my Google Maps for ages — and it did not disappoint! 📍 Boqueria 807 W Fulton Market, Chicago, IL 60607 Authentic Spanish cuisine 🇪🇸 — we spent a while browsing the menu but finally went with the Chef's Experience: a curated 10-course tasting menu. Great value for four people! 🫒 30-month aged Spanish ham, hand-sliced at the table, served with spicy shishito peppers and tangy bread — so flavorful! 🫒 Six different appetizers — each unique, with smart ingredient pairings and delicious twists. 🫒 Main: Seafood Paella 🦑 — the star of the show! The rice was perfectly cooked, seasoned, and full of flavor. The mussels and scallops on top were delicious too — just a tad salty 💦. 🫒 Second main: Ribeye Steak 🥩 — solid but not as memorable as the paella. Tender and fresh though! 🫒 Dessert: Classic Churros with chocolate sauce — tasty but a bit too oily for my liking 🤔. ✅ Still highly recommend this spot if you’re in Chicago!
