Weekend Escape to Chicago 🫶🏻

Just spent the weekend in Chicago with my boyfriend, and it’s officially become his favorite U.S. city! 🌆 The city has such a cool vibe—strolling along the Riverwalk with the breeze was so relaxing. Every building has its own unique charm, and downtown feels lively without the overwhelming crowds of NYC. That said, two days is enough to see most of it—there aren’t too many must-do attractions. Here’s our 2-day itinerary: ——————————————————————— ✨ DAY 1 🍔 Lunch @ Hamburger University – Tried the Hong Kong Spicy Chicken burger (🔥 so good!) 🚶 Afternoon: Chicago Riverwalk (perfect for a breezy walk) Apple Store (aesthetic pitstop) Starbucks Reserve (coffee break ☕) Architecture Boat Tour (a must for skyline views!) 🍜 Dinner (ramen hit the spot!) ✨ DAY 2 🍕 Lunch @ Giordano’s – Chicago’s famous deep-dish pizza! We got a small half-and-half + chicken nuggets (plenty for 4 people). ⛲ Afternoon: Millennium Park (Cloud Gate + Crown Fountain) Navy Pier (views + sunset vibes 🌅) Final Verdict: ✅ Perfect for a short romantic getaway ✅ Great food, chill walks, iconic sights ❌ Not a weeklong destination—2-3 days max! #WeekendGetaway #Chicago #ChicagoLife #TravelCouple #USATravel #DeepDishPizza #ArchitectureLovers #ChicagoRiverwalk
