Weekend Notes: Dallas Dessert Recommendations

šŸ’¢During this trip to Dallas, I visited a few dessert and bakery shops. Here’s a quick share: ā€¼ļøEataly A chain of Italian supermarkets and restaurants where you can find all sorts of Italian-related items. Every time I visit, I always pick up their little dessert slices. The four-piece and eight-piece sets are my favorites—they’re not too filling but allow you to try different flavors. Oh, and they also sell Venchi chocolates! šŸ•“Petit Four Desert Cafe A Korean bakery in Carrollton. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by a dazzling array of cakes in various flavors. There’s an entire wall of Basque cheesecakes and another wall of regular cream cakes. It’s really hard to choose! The Basque cheesecake is relatively rich and can get a bit heavy towards the end. Pairing it with coffee would be just right. Their black sesame latte is also quite good—you can actually taste the black sesame seeds! ā˜•ļøVillage Baking Co. Boulangerie - Oak Lawn This bakery is located near Uptown. It has a small storefront but is very popular. The croissants here are all delicious, but my favorite is the Quiche, which is similar to a baked custard. It’s very soft and chewy, with a rich milk and cheese flavor. I highly recommend it to anyone living nearby! #100StoreVisitsChallenge #RestaurantRecommendations #Desserts #DessertsHealEverything #DessertLover
