When I first time visited Boulangerie I was very impressed with personal service, attentiveness of the staff, but above all with quality of the product. Lately though, service is way below expectations...e.i...sales lady use no gloves handling product or baked good at same time handling cash...or even credit cards. Bad hygiene all together. Now about a quality of the product...when I was buying signature bread from Boulangerie...($7.50 / loaf) ...it had perfect European taste to it. Now no taste at all, more likely sour aftertaste. I know it's a sourdough type bread ...still it's just tasteless. Now to other part of the problem, I usually ask to slice my bread...this time no different whatsoever...however by looking throughout a glass where bread was sliced...not only I saw machine literally shaking so loud that poor associate had a problem controlling the machine (safety issues perhaps), and also she was pulling the slices, practically ripping the from the machine. When I asked the manager on duty...if the machine is in working condition ..he said .."not really, but we managed " Since I was buying two loafs... I suggested..that perhaps customers should be informed about it and make the decision on their own if the choose to slice the bread. I only got..."Oh lady ...it's going to be fine"...in his own sarcastic way. Trust me...if I'm paying 7.50 per loaf... I would rather have perfectly sliced bread...not shredded to pieces. If I could attached pictures...what I actually found it when I got home...let me tell you..from two breads...maybe I made six full sandwiches...rest was falling apart...ready to feed the birds.

Read moreUpdate: From 5 stars to 1. What happened to this place? We used to go here at least once a week when we lived in Dallas and went out of the way to go here the other day and man was it a different place. Customer service gone. That was one of the great things about this place. Wasn't as friendly and laid back as the other location but still pretty cool. Now I would rather deal with the employees at a McDonald's than this place.
Food, really? Covid killed everyone's taste buds I guess. I have never had a worse scone and I have been to some really awful places. They sold my kid on the birthday scone. Man, I would stop having birthdays if someone gave this to me. He is 3 and that didn't get finished by the way. He has eaten raisins off the floor and kept eating a taco truck taco after finding a hair in it so you tell me how they taste. I'm still angry about them scones what a waste of money for just garbage.
We got a few of our old favorites and they were old and dried out. 2 things were not in stock so I cant comment on them but I am kinda glad I didn't get them because I would be bashing them as well. Service can be bad and the food good and you will do business. Sometimes you can have bad food but great service and still stay open. How this place is open with both I have no idea.
In conclusion, this place went from show stopping to just please stop in the couple of years we have been gone.
The people at this location can be hit and miss on friendliness but today all 3 we interacted with on the phone and in store were super helpful and friendly. The almond croissants are still the best item there and usually go pretty quickly so we...
Read moreUpdate for morning of June 12, 2025: Same lady as last time but with another coworker who had dark hair. Both were super nice and pleasant. I loved the bubbly atmosphere they created together. I could feel their excitement in our conversation as we talked about pastries.
Again, been coming by for years and the customer service has never been this great. It used to even border on unpleasant. Management should definitely take care of these folks so they stay around.
Whoever these two lovely ladies are, they are absolute gems. They brightened up this rainy day with their infectious joy. Came by for a croissant and left with a smile.
Original: I love when it's a quiet morning and few people are in. It can easily get crowded. The young lady who helped me today had short bangs and a neon choker. She was the most personable and kind staff I've encountered at this bakery over the past 5 years. She was genuine without being scripted and I really valued her service. She even knew how to offer a new menu item without it feeling pushy in a way that fit our interaction.
I'm mainly writing this review to give her props. I hope she receives proper recognition as genuine care in customer service seems to be a rarity in today's social times. I visited today at around 11am on April 21st, 2025. She was the only visible staff in the shop.
The sourdough is always good. I miss the feta croissants when they had more feta and no sesame seeds. Love the fruit tarts and kouign amann. The ham and cheese croissant was nice and the butter croissants are always very good. This is a go to bakery for me over many of the other...
