Many restaurants are discovered by chance, and they’re very local and delicious 😋 🇮🇹 Florence Picture 1: 🍽️ La Cantinetta I found this place blindly on Google. It has a pretty high rating, and it’s near the Duomo di Firenze, making it convenient to visit attractions. 🍝 Seafood Pasta Recommendation: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I’m obsessed with their seafood pasta—it’s incredibly delicious! It has crab, mussels, clams, and squid. There’s a good variety of seafood with generous portions, and I especially love the seafood sauce—it’s perfectly seasoned. I’ll definitely order it again next time I come!!! 📍 Borgo S. Lorenz0, 14r, 50123 Firenze Fl Picture 8: 🍽️ Giotto Pizzeria We still had to wait for a table at 8:30 PM, and many people chose takeout. A lot of locals eat here. I saw many recommendations for the beef carpaccio pizza, but it just doesn’t suit our palates, so we ordered the daily special: “Fig, Zucchini & Artichoke Pizza 🍕”. The taste was surprisingly good, but the portion was huge—even two people couldn’t finish it. 🇪🇸 Madrid Picture 9: 🍽️ Mesón del Champiñón It’s an internet-famous restaurant 🍴, a place for tapas and drinks, with someone playing the keyboard inside, creating a great atmosphere. The grilled mushrooms 🍄 are juicy and delicious! Just a bit salty. The apple wine-roasted chorizo 🍖 has a texture similar to the air-dried sausages from southern China (also quite salty). Maybe because they’re bar snacks, several dishes were a bit salty. 📍 C. Cava de San Miguel, 17 (Calle de Toledo) 28005 Madrid Comunidad de Madrid España 🇵🇹 Lisbon Pictures 11-12: 🍽️ ALTAR Another amazing Portuguese restaurant we stumbled upon by chance. You need to book in advance, otherwise you’ll have to wait during meal times. We ordered two dishes, and neither disappointed. The restaurant has a great vibe, and the service is excellent. A must-try!!! 🐙 Oven-roasted octopus Recommendation: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Incredibly delicious! A huge octopus leg, served with whole baby potatoes and some crushed beans. It’s so good it’s crazy, and the flavor is perfect for Asian palates. 🍗 Duck Recommendation: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A whole big duck leg, with meat that’s tender like it’s been braised. It’s served on a bed of mashed potatoes.
