What to Eat Near the Colosseum: A Scenic Experience đđˇ
Ristoro Della Salute - A restaurant with a prime view, just across the street from the Colosseum! The whole street is lined with restaurants, and you can sit outside and snap photos with the Colosseum as your backdrop đ¸. Itâs clearly a touristy spot, but the food wasnât bad. The service was quick, so itâs convenient if you want to grab a bite and continue exploring the Colosseum. Though, after we left, I noticed a line formingâlucky we came early! We ordered pistachio-flavored Italian dumplings, a seafood platter with mussels, Coke Zero, and tiramisu. The pistachio dumplings đĽ were a new flavor for meâreally unique! The filling was mostly cheese, topped with crushed pistachios. The sauce also had a hint of pistachio, but I found the flavor a bit light. After a few bites, it started feeling heavy, but my friend loved them and thought they were delicious! The mussels đ were decently seasoned, though the quality wasnât the best. They werenât plump and had a bit of a fishy smell. As for the tiramisu, it was plated nicely but tasted average. By the end, it was too heavy to finish.
