What to Eat Near the Colosseum | The Closest View Restaurant

**Restaurant Name:** Ristoro Della Salute Located just across the street from the Colosseum, this restaurant is in a row of eateries. Sitting outdoors, you can take photos with the Colosseum as a backdrop. 📸 It’s a typical tourist spot, with decent food and quick turnover. It’s convenient for continuing your Colosseum tour after the meal, but we noticed a line forming behind us as we left. We ordered pistachio-flavored Italian ravioli, a sea snail and shellfish platter, zero-degree cola, and tiramisu. The pistachio ravioli 🥟 was a unique flavor I hadn’t tried before. The filling was cheese with pistachio crumbs on top and a pistachio-infused sauce. However, I found the pistachio flavor a bit weak and it got a little greasy after a few bites. My friend, though, really enjoyed it and thought it was delicious. The sea snails 🦶 were decently seasoned but of average quality—neither plump nor particularly fresh, and still had a bit of an off-odor. The tiramisu was nicely plated but tasted pretty ordinary. I couldn’t finish it as it got a bit too sweet towards the end.
