Where are the fireworks in Chicago for New Year’s Eve 2026? --------------------------------------------------------------- Official fireworks displays on New Year’s Eve will take place along the Chicago River downtown and at Navy Pier. The iconic 300-foot-long pier on the shoreline of Lake Michigan will host its annual fireworks show over the lakefront. Along the river, just before midnight, the Art on the Mart projection display will transform into a backdrop for the 2026 countdown as fireworks are launched from bridges along the Chicago River during a five-minute show. The fireworks will be visible along the Chicago River on Wacker Drive from Wells/Orleans streets to Columbus Drive . What time are the New Year’s Eve fireworks?
