🍋 Wonderful & Delicious – A True Italian Gem in Hyde Park! 🇮🇹✨

Ascione Bistro, nestled in the heart of Hyde Park, is an outstanding Italian restaurant that completely won us over! I’ve always been a huge fan of Petite Folie next door (an amazing French spot!), but they weren’t open until 5 PM, and we were craving Sunday brunch. Our daughter highly recommended Ascione Bistro — and what a fantastic recommendation it was! This was our first visit, but it definitely won’t be our last. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💖 Let’s start with the incredible value: UNLIMITED MIMOSAS! 🥂🎉 They brought us a full bottle of Les Allies, Blanc de Blanc Brut, France — and for just $18 per person (normally $54 per bottle, the unlimited option for two is $36), we enjoyed refreshing pours with yuzu and pomegranate flavors. So elegant and fun! We ordered: Half Shell Oysters 🦪 – A dozen for $18, served with a truly unique balsamic malt vinegar. So fresh and flavorful! Mediterranean Salad 🥗 – Arugula, cherry tomatoes, Kalamata olives, red onion, cucumber, with added salmon for $17. A generous, healthy, and delicious choice! Jumbo Crab Cakes 🦀 – A double portion for $43 (or $22 for one), served with micro arugula, tomato, garlic-onion jam, and lemon butter aioli. We cleaned our plates — they were that good! 😋👌 For dessert, we indulged in: Crema Bruciata (Crème Brûlée) 🍮 – Made with Madagascar vanilla beans and caramel, served with seasonal berries and a citrus madeleine for $9. Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur Dessert ☕🍫 – A creamy latte and dark chocolate treat with a nutty finish for $11. Both were the perfect sweet ending! Our server, Milan, was exceptional — customer-focused, attentive without being intrusive, and very knowledgeable about the menu.
