Yangon🇲🇲 Travel Diary: A Serene Escape in the Forest 🌳
First of all, this spot has an amazing open view—so nice! The staff includes a sister who speaks Chinese, and there’s even a Chinese menu 🇨🇳—super convenient! They serve a mix of food and drinks 🥣: Dai-style cuisine | Coffee | Beverages | Beer | Fried rice Everything I ordered was delicious—no disappointments! (Highlights: grilled chicken, latte, apple juice, yogurt, and fried rice.) Perfect for small gatherings with friends or couple dates! Entrance fee: 5,000 KS (kids probably 3,000 KS—I’m guessing since the sign’s in Burmese and I couldn’t read it ). Each little pavilion is beautifully set up, most with swings —great for photos! 📷 The water is a dreamy blue-green, super photogenic. ⚠️ Tip: Be careful on the swings—they can be slippery! Hold tight. The water isn’t deep, but I didn’t dare go in (though I saw kids playing in it happily ). Also, since it’s a grassy area, there are tiny ants 🐜 around. If that bothers you, take note! Personally, it didn’t ruin the vibe for me. 😇 The pavilions have fans 💨 to keep cool, and you can ask the staff to open the curtains for a breezy feel 🌬️. They play music too! There are also booth-style seats and plenty of Instagram-worthy spots—photo ops everywhere! 📷 During my visit, it was Thingyan (Water Festival) season, so villagers along the way were joyfully splashing water as a blessing on passersby. 💦 #YangonEats #YangonTravel #MyanmarAdventures #HiddenGem #ForestCafe
