Yasemi | A Mediterranean Restaurant Worth Revisiting for the Cocktails
As a local Mediterranean food enthusiast, I heard about a new restaurant opening nearby and couldn't wait to check it out. But guess what? The cocktails were even more impressive! π₯ Hummus : The texture is smooth but a bit on the salty side... But their pita bread is thin and crispy. If you find the thicker pita at aba or ema a bit too heavy, this is a great alternative. It's still very fragrant! π₯ͺ Cipura Ceviche : Personally, I found the seasoning a bit too salty. We did provide feedback on this, so hopefully, they will make some improvements. π Braised Lamb Shank : First off, let's talk about the portion sizeβit's quite generous. The lamb shank is tender and falls off the bone easily. The addition of chickpeas makes the dish even more flavorful. The best part is that it doesn't have a strong gamey taste! However, it could be a bit more juicy. π Charred Broccolini : This dish is roasted with almond slices, adding a nice nutty aroma. It's a good choice. π₯¦ I highly recommend their cocktails! We ordered two and loved both of them. π πΉ Kiwi Kefi : A delightful blend of kiwi and lime flavors. If you enjoy a bit of tanginess, this is the drink for you. π π· Yasemi Blush : A sweet berry wine with a hint of jasmine tea fragrance. My friend said it's one of the most satisfying drinks she's had in a while. π #ChicagoFood #ChicagoRestaurants #HiddenGem #DiningOut #AmbianceDinner #UndergroundSpot #DinnerWithDrinks #ChicagoExplore #FoodAndWine #RestaurantRecommendation #CozyBar
