The Obama Foundation will host **several public tours** of the Jackson Park construction site this fall, as first reported by the Hyde Park Herald. The guided tours will take guests around the multi-building premises, which include a **225-foot-tall museum tower,** vegetable garden, and Chicago Public Library branch. The Obama Center’s road to completion ------------------------------------- Construction on the OBC began in 2021 and is **set to conclude by 2026.** The sprawling complex will serve as an economic anchor, while bringing **cultural and educational opportunities** to the South Side.
