We came in with high expectations, as this place was highly rated. We were not disappointed. Atmosphere: The place is fairly small, and very well lit and decorated for a cozy vibe. Everything came across as 'high end', with embroidered logos on napkins, shirts, table reservations and even wine bottles. A lot of effort has gone into making this place stand out, and it is done in a very successful way. We were surprised to learn that it is in fact not a part of a big chain. Very impressive! Food: A good size menu, but not too much. This is a obviously a meat-speciality place. We shared a nice Burrata with Prosciutto for a starter. Great, fresh flavors. For main, we got the 500g Picanha Brazilian steak for sharing. All steaks are served with potatoes. Just the right amount for us. I did however miss some kind of sauce on the side. The steak was ordered medium, and was slightly overcooked. The advice from the server was medium/rare, so that was our fault. Other sides were not offered, but available on request. There were two local desserts available, which both were absolutely amazing! Wine is not available by the glass. We got the best house red, which was great. Kind of pricy at 6500 Lek, but it was a good wine. Service: We have been to a few restaurants in Durres and Tirana, and the service here was the best we have gotten, by far. Our server was very nice all night. He came by the table and checked on us, filled our glasses regularly, and spoke english pretty good. We did get a complimentary dessert and shot as we were celebrating a birthday. Thank you for a great night!

I was 100% blown away by this restaurant, from outstanding, friendly service to warm environs and probably the best duck I've ever eaten anywhere. We visited late on a Monday night and were treated with incredible respect by our server Arbër, who is by far the best waiter we've met in Albania. He took time to explain the menu and make recommendations. We were the last table of the night, but were not rushed at all. This was the first time I'd seen duck on a menu in Albania, where most restaurant menus seem to be somewhat identical and slightly unimaginative. Here they also serve deer, which I'll definitely order on my next visit. The duck was served perfectly cooked to medium rare, with no sauce. At first I was concerned because I've always eaten duck with some kind of sauce. But this was an exquisite piece of fresh meat that needed nothing beyond the dashes of salt and pepper on its crispy skin. I was floored by how delicious this dish was, and I'll be craving it forever. At 1500 Lek ($15 US) this was an incredible value. We were gifted two pours of raki after dinner, and later had the chance to speak with the chef and the owner, both incredibly friendly people who clearly know what they are doing. Don't miss this restaurant if you're in Durrës.

We ordered starters. Fried mushrooms 12 euro and cheese baked potatoes 8 euro. The mushrooms, didn't taste like much, but was very crispy. But they were served with KETCHUP! like a children's meal. Not good. Asked for another sauce or dip, but all they had to offer, was mustard and mayonaise. Not at all satisfying. I asked for salt and pepper 4 times, but it didn't reach the table before I only had 2 mushrooms left. We ordered wine, which was served with sublimity. And a very well produced Argentinian wine at only 20 euro. The cheesy potatoes was very nice, very cheesy. They brought the garnish for the main course to the table, when we weren't half finished with the starter. We told them to wait and bring it with the meat. They looked surprised. The coke we ordered, didn't reach the table, before we asked for it the 3rd time. The main course was served. Nice fried potatoes, again served with ketchup and an entrecote, very tender and nice, a portion of wild duck, which was not as tender as hoped and the 2 very different types of meat was served with the exact same garnish. NOT a very good choice as beef and duck are very different types of meat. The waiter tried to explain that the duck was meant to be dry, but it had a very strong ligament in the middle of it, that made it impossible to chew. (It was a duck breast filet) All together not expensive compared to Danish prices, but very expensive in Albanian standards. And definitely NOT up to the standard, proclaimed in the description. I would recommend the entrecote, but only the meat, the garnish was not suitable or well prepared. More thought should have been put into the menu.

Visiting from England 🏴 we looked up steakhouses in durres and quickly decided on Westwood. Firstly the design of the place is fabulous, such a beautiful looking building. Staff, on point, polite, knowledgeable without harassing you or coming over to much, sorry I didn’t get your names but I got one of your pictures 😉😂 We had the borrata cheese to start, perfect. If you’re going to have wine, spend a little more and treat yourself to a bottle of Gocce, you will not be disappointed, outstanding wine. Now the highlight and the reason we were there, the 1.1kg T bone steak 🥩 was outstanding! Massive fillet attached, cooked to perfection and an absolute taste sensation! My compliments to the chef, cooking thick steak is an art and you chef have mastered it! The flavour was unreal, we also had a roasted bone marrow and when a little was spread across the steak, it took it to a different level. If I had to make a comment that wasn’t glowing in congratulations, me and my wife do like a side sauce to dip, a bone marrow sauce or something similar, that’s standard in the Uk to have 3/4 sauce options, that’s personal choice and absolutely not a negative. First class restaurant, do yourself a favour and visit.

Wonderful evening! We were really curious about the menu, because such a long time, we haven't seen any steak houses have so many "rare" meats like here. Starter : Cheese Potatoes baked ( i think it was with Gorgonzola sauce + oregano), served with breads. It' was a nice portion, didn't make us sooo full. Just perfect! Main : Entrecôte (medium rare) and Crocodile filet. Entre was on point, really juicyy and also tender, literally melted in your mouth!!!!!! The croco was also tender but had its own consistent. Like chicken (50-60%), but also density. Must try! (For me it was a lil bit salty because of the carrot on top or idk.. some vegi on top, otherwise I'm happy w it). Services were nice, after eating they offered us Raki-Shots. They made it themselves. It was really burning in ypur throat, so drink slowly. Quite had a taste like Sasse Lagerkorn, but picanter. We also received a magnet as a gift from them. Love itttt :) Price for 2pp (includes only Beer) : ~70€

Visited the Westwood Meathouse in Durrës on the back of a recommendation from the owners of the hotel we stayed at. Service and food was exceptional! Large selection of menu options to choose from, including salads, starters and other appetisers. They have kangaroo and crocodile fillet (if you dare to try, I go the Picanha). Atmosphere ambient, not too many tables so I would try to book in advance if you can! We didn’t book but got lucky on a Tuesday. Big shout-out to our waiter Nani too, who made the whole experience even better! Amazing knowledge of wines and explained everything really well in English. Took the time to get to know his customers, and even made sure they had gluten-free / coeliac options available for my partner. They also gave out free shots of Raki at the end. Would fully recommend visiting here if you’re in Durrës.
