Blue Water Restaurant — Restaurant in Bashkia Sarandë

On September 25th, my partner and I had the opportunity to dine at your restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience did not entirely align with the positive impressions shared in previous reviews. We opted for the Beef Burger (800) and the mixed seafood platter (1800) as our main courses, and concluded with the Soufflé (500) for dessert. The flavors of the dishes were impressive, although we found the portion sizes to be slightly smaller than expected.

Notably, the Soufflé stood out as a delightful highlight that fully met our expectations. However, I must address the aspect of service, which regrettably left us disappointed. The service was attended to by a young gentleman who conveyed a rather unmotivated demeanor. Given that only one other table was occupied at that time, and the restaurant's occupancy seemed manageable, it was somewhat surprising that we had to wait approximately 20 minutes for our empty plates to be cleared. During this interval, we took the opportunity to request the menu again and reconsider our choices.

The pinnacle of our dinner, the dessert, took longer than anticipated. Instead of the stated 10 minutes, it took about 25 minutes for the dessert to be served. Upon completing our meal, we lingered with empty plates and glasses for a considerable time before successfully capturing the attention of the waiter to request the bill.

Overall, the dishes excelled in flavor, although the portion sizes left something to be desired. The service, however, leaves ample room for improvement. Considering the prices stated, we had certain expectations that were not entirely met given the...

My husband and I are currently staying at Blue Water Hotel & Restaurant and it is absolutely FABULOUS!

Everything from the kind and attentive service, to the hotel high standard of comfort and quality of the food. This offering in Albania has the perfect location and is all round brilliant.

The rooms are spacious and cleaned everyday with fresh towels and care given to your belongings. We stayed in the blue room with a double and single bed to make sure we had plenty of space.

The pool is a lovely well maintained area with space to relax and chill out. The pool has plenty of sun and shade and you can order drinks and/or food throughout the day.

The quality of the breakfast really does make this accommodation option very good value for money. The coffee is proper barista coffee made by the hotel barista and is excellent every time!

The breakfast specials each morning changes on a daily basis, but eggs, sausage, bacon, bread, a delicious variety of fruit and cereals remains each day.

All food is homemade, the cakes and cookies are delicious and make for a perfect snack in the afternoon.

The staff work so hard to ensure that your stay is comfortable and happy. They can’t do enough for you and encourage you to ask at reception if you need anything at all.

The location is excellent as it’s set back from the main road ensuring that to noise and music from the centre doesn’t impact your holiday.

We came in on a Wednesday early afternoon looking for fresh seafood and almost got turned away because the hotel was still serving breakfast to the hotel guests only and we were not staying there. They then called us back and said they can serve us. We were the only guests there anyway. Started off with a complimentary tomato bruschetta. I ordered the seafood risotto that was excellent! Every bite was so buttery. So flavorful and would order that again. Also ordered the mixed grill seafood. The presentation was stunning and I can tell the chef had some formal training, but unfortunately didn't taste all too fresh. Some were a bit too chewy and tough.
