The service was nice, they explained the food well if we had any questions. They could speak multiple languages and weren’t awkward about any mistakes in language or pronunciation.

The Atmosphere was amazing. The view was great, you could look onto the beach below, the ocean, the horizon, the sunset, etc. The inside interior was very modern, everything well lit with a warm white. There are many plants around the place, but they’re not in the way. It was designed with a lot of wood, the tables are stable, the seats are comfortable, on one side of the building are couches with plug points. There is a bar on the other end where you can see the drinks being made. We sat right underneath a speaker, but even that wasn’t to loud. Their music was quite nice, there were songs that played in 2018 on the radio.

The food was quite alright, but it felt like they were still experimenting with different tastes. They put weird combinations of food and tastes together that didn’t really work out as well. But otherwise the food is made with great quality. The drinks are very interesting and delicious. At the entrance of the place was a ice cream stand, were you could then go down the stairs right next to it, onto the beach. We didn’t try the ice cream but it looked great. It was all homemade.

Vediamo quanto ci stanno a cancellare questa recensione… La peggior esperienza- The worst experience in Saranda/Ksamil. Never again. In sintesi: arroganza, servizio pessimo, piatti MEDIOCRI (parole del manager: “this is the best restaurant in South Albania”…..Ma ne capite qualcosa di cibo?) , prezzi elevati, buona location, cameriere Marjo aggressivo, arrogante assolutamente non professionale e con poco rispetto per le donne. COSA PEGGIORE DELLA SERATA * in fondo da leggere assolutamente! Completa: Purtroppo anche io e il mio fidanzato siamo stati ammaliati dalle recensioni e dalla location di questo ristorante. Su quest’ultima non possiamo dire nulla perché ammirare il tramonto da qui è stato bello! La magia però finisce qui. Arriviamo un’ora prima per sbaglio, partono male trattandoci con supponenza senza nemmeno invitarci a bere un aperitivo, e infatti siamo andati da un’altra parte. Tornati lì, ci serve il cameriere MARJO che subito invita SOLO il mio fidanzato a vedere il pesce fresco, non mi calcola minimamente nonostante fossi io a parlare inglese. Ci sono passata sopra immaginando/sperando che la serata andasse bene. PIATTI: tutti peggiori e più mediocri di quelli che abbiamo mangiato tutti gli altri giorni a Saranda. Pane secco fuori e con un retrogusto da confezione, 100% industriale. Tempura buona ma con salsa dolce piccante (tipo quella degli involtini primavera) che sapeva tantissimo di pesce, non a tutti piacerebbe. Filetto di branzino (cotto bene) con verdure e una spuma che sapeva di detersivo per piatti. Protagonista della serata, il piatto di LINGUINE ai frutti di mare. Subito ci sembrava che non sapesse da nulla e che avesse un retrogusto marcato di plastica. I pezzi di pesce erano buoni e non sapevano di plastica, quindi ho capito che era il sugo. Ormai avevo mangiato 5/6 bocconi per sperare di non sentirlo più (poi mi è stato rinfacciato che avevo mangiato più di mezzo piatto e l’ho rimandato indietro per non pagarlo!!! Che ridere). Lo riferisco molto dispiaciuta al cameriere. IMPORTANTE: torna con arroganza e dice che in cucina hanno assaggiato il MIO piatto e che “NON È VERO che sa di plastica”. Vogliono tenersi la ragione, compreso il manager che è intervenuto, non hanno avuto NESSUN RISPETTO PER IL CLIENTE. Scusandosi senza contestare e proponendosi di offrire qualcosa me la sarei messa via. Escono senza dire nulla con un piatto di frutta, senza nemmeno scusarsi. Non avendo potuto finire quel piatto di pasta avevo fame e l’ho mangiato. Mi aspettavo che per una cosa così grave avrebbero tolto la pasta dal conto ma così non è stato.

COSA PEGGIORE DELLA SERATA: il cameriere Marjo dice che io ho sentito il sapore di plastica a causa di un bicchiere di prosecco che stavamo bevendo, insinuando che fosse a causa dell’alcol e che io non fossi lucida (probabilmente non lo avrebbe mai detto al mio fidanzato!). Con questa hanno veramente esagerato. Ci siamo alzati per pagare e segnalare il tutto al manager, che sembrava un dj lì per caso. Nel frattempo, il cameriere Marjo stava ad ascoltare e alzava le spalle e si avvicinava per incitare RISSA, rivolgendosi ancora male a noi che intanto stavamo giustamente facendo notare la grave azione da parte sua. Il manager lo teneva indietro. INCOMPETENZA TOTALE, SCONSIGLIATISSIMO, piuttosto andate lì a vedere il tramonto per i fatti vostri o nei ristoranti di fianco. NON SOLO DELUSA MA UMILIATA COME...

We had high expectations when visiting the bar of ostro, known for its stunning sunset views and refined ambiance. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of this reputation.

From the moment we arrived, the reception by the hostesses was cold and disdainful. Despite our explicit request to enjoy an aperitif with a view of the sunset before dining, we were directed to a terrace with dirty windows, ruining the much-anticipated view.

The service was equally disappointing. The waiter, visibly overwhelmed, had to run between the restaurant and the terrace located on the other side of the establishment. We ordered two cocktails and a bottle of water. After an interminable wait of 25 minutes, only the cocktails were served, and the bottle of water never arrived.

This dreadful experience at a supposedly reputable place makes us think that the positive reviews might be bought. We do not recommend this establishment and will...
