Delicious cuisine and truly one of the restaurants worth visiting in Ksamil ❤️🔥 It’s really CLEAN here, and that’s already a big advantage. If you want to be sure there won’t be any hair in your plates – this is the place for you! ❤️🩹 Special thanks to the kitchen staff: the dishes are tasty, and the tiramisu is just incredible 🥵
➕ Pros:
• Delicious food, especially the desserts. • Cleanliness (unlike many other places nearby). • One waiter ( who lives in Berlin) really impressed us with his charisma and professional service! And he was the only one we decided to leave a tip for 🫶🏻
➖ Cons:
Unfortunately, during a whole week of visits, only once did we leave the restaurant in a great mood. All the other times, the service was a complete failure.
• General level of service: here, as in most Ksamil restaurants, it comes down to the bare minimum – take the order and bring the food. No one will bring you water or clean the table unless you ask. • Menu in the plate: instead of handing the menu properly, the waiter simply put it right into my plate 🤢 Later he gave it to my friend instead of me, and when I pointed out that I was the one who asked for it – he got nervous and demanded that she give the menu back. • Dessert and chocolate fondant: I asked about fondant, the waiter promised to check with the kitchen, but I never got an answer. He just brought the first dessert I had ordered, although if the fondant was available, that’s what I would have chosen. • Steak: I ordered done because I simply cannot eat raw meat. They brought medium. When I pointed it out, the waiter didn’t react at all, and later even insisted that I had ordered medium. On top of that, no one changed my cutlery, so I had to cut the half-raw steak with a salad knife 🫠 • Alcoholic “compliment”: after the argument, the waiter brought us 3 shots of limoncello “on the house”. But out of the four of us, only one girl actually drinks alcohol. In the end, the waiter lifted a toast and drank one shot from our table together with my friend 🤩 • Sushi: when served, no chopsticks or soy sauce were brought. Even though soy sauce was clearly visible next to the serving area. • Seafood and mango salad: my friend asked what kind of seafood it contained, the waiter promised to check, but never came back with an answer. In the end, she got a salad with squid (which she doesn’t eat) and without mango. They later brought mango separately, but the salad remained untouched.
Conclusion:
I don’t know if such indifference in service is due to seasonal work and the constant flow of tourists, or if this is considered the norm. Hopefully, the management will take notice and improve the level of service 🙌
💡 I still recommend this restaurant among all in Ksamil for the tasty food and cleanliness. The service is very poor at the moment, but there’s potential for...
Read moreAfter a long beach day in Ksamil we stopped by GREGs on a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint.
It was very easy to find seating and the waiters were super friendly and nice, we went for dinner around 7 pm.
We ordered quite a bit as we were very hungry. We started with the chicken and fish soup and a burrata salad. We also got a bottle of white wine recommended by the waiter.
We then got three main courses, a chicken coppa pizza, sea bass with baked veggies, chili lime muscles and shrimp with sweet chili sauce.
The pizza was amazing the Dough was light and airy the toppings were okay, the shrimp was grilled perfectly and the sea bass was soft as butter, but the star of the show were the muscles they were so well made and the stock was this very nice zingy chili flavor.
The waiter was awesome and super friendly too! The only reason why it didnt get 5 stars is because the food felt it could have been a bit better as the soup and salad was very plain and almost a bit bland.
You might think that the 130 euro price tag is pricey but for the restaurants decor and location i would say it’s very fair, especially for ksamil.
I definitely recommend giving it a try if you are in the area and a re looking for a...
Read moreI don't understand all these negative reviews. I had dinner at Greg's last night and everything was great! I ordered an arugula salad, grilled kashkaval cheese and seafood linguine. The salad and the cheese came fast and they were delicious. The waiter was very friendly and he brought the linguine shortly after I was done with the salad. Everything on a timely manner. The linguine portion could have been a big bigger but if you also have an appetizer, you're all set. They were very tasty!
They also have small bottles of wine, if you don't wanna get a big one, which was very convenient.
The beach bar after the dinner had an amazing atmosphere, with people dancing and having a good time. Sometimes the waiters were busy but considering the amount of people for such a small area, they did a great job! I also ordered a couple of cocktails and they were some of the best I've ever had!
I came here for my morning coffee as well and couldn't ask for a better view!
Overall I had a great time! You can always find things you don't like if you're picky but you're on vacation, you might as well be a bit more relaxed....
