TAJ MAHAL Chéraga — Restaurant in Chéraga

I will refer you to my below review of Taj Mahal Ben Aknoune as being the same group and same management.

The main difference being Cheraga restaurant is bigger with a small car park inside.

My review: Three stars for a very good place and here is why! You may find strange that some rates the Taj Mahal as 5 stars and others as 1 or two stars? I tell you why: some like the restaurant and food, some are disappointed by the pricing that got crazy over the years. It is true the place is nice and service professional. Food is tasty and service is fast. However, along a decade of decaying dinar value, and increasing running cost and despite salaries remained the same, many of us who used to be fans of the place do not go anymore because of the crazy prices: 1,600da for rice? Are you serious? In average, you leave the restaurant with 4,000da per person.

My true opinion: two expensive for the service provided. Really became the same as prices...

During a recent trip, I came across the Indian restaurant Taj Mahal located in Cheraga, Algiers. Craving Indian food, I decided to pay a visit. Upon entering, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, which immediately set a positive tone for the experience.

The server recommended some of their best dishes: Chicken Biryani, Mutton Bhuna Ghost, Dal Makhni, and Roti. Each dish was delicious and authentic, exceeding my expectations.

During my meal, the manager, Sanam Sharma, visited my table. He was friendly and attentive, further enhancing the overall dining experience.

Personnellement j'ai adoré ce restaurant indien, il est bien situé, facile à trouver, il y a même un parking derrière le restau. On es assez bien accueillis, c'est propre, la déco est jolie, c'est assez spacieux. Les serveurs sont professionnel et sourient, le menu est varié, c était super bon , les saveurs, les épices, on avaient pris du lamb biryani et Chicken biryani ( le premier plat c'était de l'agneau et l'autre plat c'était du poulet accompagnés de riz ) plus du pita a l'aille et une sauce au fromage. Pour le coté épicé , libre choix au clients. Les parts sont assez copieuse, si vous n'arrivez pas à finir votre assiette vous pouvez demander au serveur de vous le mettre a emporter. En ce qui concerne les prix c'est pas donné à tous le monde , vous pouvez vérifier sur leur site avant d'y aller, vous pouvez aussi réserver une table par téléphone . Cependant je lui ai enlevé une étoile car quand on s'es installés, le serveur nous a ouvert une bouteille d'eau sans avoir rien demandé et cette bouteille à été compté dans l'addition final. J'aurais aimé choisir moi même ma boisson. Mais apart ce petit hic, il n' y a vraiment rien à dire , une excellente addresse à...
