Popeyes Famous Louisiana Chicken — Restaurant in Encamp

We were eager and waited for Popeyes to open as we know Popeyes food chains, so there we went for lunch after a long hike. Good parking, just get the parking ticket and when you’re ready to leave they will validate it for you, you then have 10m to leave. We ordered a lot of different items like spicy 🌶️ Cajun Chicken among other items from the kiosk, got the food we ordered in no time at all. Boy, the Cajun chicken was crunchy outside and tender inside, the best part was it was well marinated and spicy just like how we like it (not the dumb down spiciness version to cater to local people as the Spanish or Andorran who don’t eat real spicy food like it should be) we weren’t disappointed, the onion petals were delicious as well along with the French fries. The hamburger 🍔 was excellent. Ah I must add that fried chicken was not greasy, very important. The place was nicely decorated, spacious and clean with a see through kitchen. I used the downstairs bathroom and it was clean. My only complaint is the service, as an American I know what excellent service is so is customer service in the UK, always eager to help and always attentive, never let a customer wait; so I hope they work on improving their customer service, train their staff to have a different attitude when it comes to customer service to the level of satisfaction so they leave happy and wanting to return. So far, we are satisfied with the food 😋 Excellent location we may say, right on the way to Grandvalira. So far, we are happy about the food, parking and location. Gave it a 4 stars instead of 5 because of the service. Thanks Popeyes 👍 and thanks for opening...

Fatal, NO VOY A VOLVER NUNCA, estuvimos esperando frente al interfono a que nos atendieran 8-10min, como la cola de coches avanzaba delante nuestra y no nos atendía, pensamos que estaría roto el interfono y avanzamos pensando que se pediría en ventana. Una vez llegaron a la ventada, nos dice el chico con gafas de malas maneras que ahí no se puede pedir, que si quiero pedir, que vuelva a ponerme en la cola que le estoy molestando que hay coches detrás y cierra la ventanita para que nos vayamos y dejarnos con la palabra en la boca. Nos esperamos hasta que ve que no nos vamos y decide volver a abrir la ventanita, le explicamos lo sucedido, que debido a la cantidad de tiempo que había pasado esperando, no tener coches delante y estar creando cola detrás nuestra, y no atendernos, decidimos avanzar. El dependiente se puso a gritar repitiendo en bucle: "vuelvan a hacer la cola o váyanse, pero tengo coches esperando". Finalmente le dijimos que nos íbamos y no pensabamos volver nunca más.
