The Embers — Restaurant in Acassuso

I don’t think the people in charge of this place have ever been in the US. Food was horrible. Atmosphere was depressing, sad. Service was great. One waitress for just one table ( we were the only ones there ! ) worst meal since me and my family arrived to Arg in 12/1/2024. But we wanted to try cause my kids missed American food. So we did , even knowing that were empty all the time. Do not enter to an empty place in bs as !!! Trust me...

I hate giving bad reviews, but this is really a poor attempt at the American diner experience. The food is not horrible, but none of it really compares to the American classics. Some of the menu items are literally described with "ketchup" as a topping. It feels like someone who doesn't really understand American taste made the menu. Very friendly staff and a typical diner...

Tardaron un montón en atendernos. Pedimos dos hamburguesas que nos llegaron muy pasadas de cocción, con una rodaja súper chica de tomate y mucha lechuga. Ambos platos frios. Yo la pedí con queso extra y la moza se olvidó de traermela como la pedí, no le dije que me la cambie porque ya habían tardado una hora con la comida. El cheddar que no me puso en la hamburguesa me lo quiso cobrar y tuve que reclamar. Las papas si bien estaban ricas parecían recalentadas. No pedimos que nos cambiarán los platos porque verdaderamente tardaron muchísimo. Muy flojo el lugar. Los precios están bien. Capaz tienen que poner más personal en el bar para que estas cosas no pasen y gente competente de paso. No cumplen protocolo, mesas pegadisimas afuera y no había ni alcohol ni alcohol en gel ni en aerosol. No sanitizaron la mesa, la sanitice yo porque...
