BIBLOS ARCOS — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

This is my first dinner in Buenos Aires, coming from the United States. I've dined in Santiago quite a bit, so this review is from a foreigner's perspective

Nice location. Convenient to the park next door. Clean. The bathrooms are unusual and chick... The urinals are separate for the hombre y mujer, but the sinks are common between the two. I thought this was a unique touch.

The food was decent, and met my expectations. The price was around twenty dollars US for two people without dessert without appetizers without coffee. Why no coffee and dessert? I'm how'd you asked.

They have what I found to be an unusual dining restriction in that they would not serve water from the pipe.

From the perspective of wanting to reduce my contributions of killing mother ocean, that they forced me to buy plastic bottles of water was unreasonable. I do what I can to reduce my negative environmental footprint. This wasn't a good experience.

I even offered to buy tap water. The man said they don't have that on the menu. Really? Then it should be free, no?

I won't be coming back.

As I was leaving I expressed my dissatisfaction to a new server who had just come on duty.

Hago mi mejor esfuerzo para tratar de reducir mi impacto en cosas malas en el medio ambiente como Plastics y no podría obtener agua sin comprar plástico. Ofrecí comprarlo porque el hombre dijo que no lo tienen en el menú.

The new server said... What? He said he would have provided us with gratis water without plastic.

Unfortunately when I asked to speak to a manager, the server pointed out the manager as the person who refused to provide water sin plastic !

So while I would not have experienced a forced plastic problem with this particular server, I would have experienced the problem with this manager who was still on duty.

No bueno. Just find another place in...

Nos atendio Emiliano, super amable desde el principio. Primera vez que vamos a esta sucursal y al igual que todas las otras sucursales tiene un diseño muy lindo y acogedor, asi que en cuanto a ambiente super comodo. Nos encanta la variedad del menu y nunca falla, pedimos un calzone (3100p) de la casa que es para compartir, porción de papas, 3 gaseosas en total como unos 4900p

Nada... Biblos siempre nos ha salvado en momentos que no sabemos a donde ir, y ahora que sabemos que esta una sucursal cerca de casa va buenisimo. Los precios de la carta siempre habian sido un valor agregado positivo, actualmente con la economia se dispararon todos los precios y ver como la primera vez que compre el calzone estaba en 700 (enero-febrero 2021) y ahora 3100 es un gran wataffuuuc. Pero bueno este es el gobierno por el que votaron... Al final esos son los precios en todos lados y hay que acostumbrarse solo que ahora yo decidiria muy bien donde voy a gastar 4000mil en una comida, y sinceramente hay muchos lugares con esos precios pero con platos y atencion mediocre, que aunque suban los precios lo mas que quieran (esto lo entiendo) bajan cada vez mas la calidad del producto y por el momento no estoy en etapa de ponerme a descubrir lugares para recibir este tipo de sorpresas asi que me voy por lo seguro y Biblos literal nunca ha fallado, asi que lo recomiendo para los nuevos y para los que buscan un lugar que sea pedir “lo de siempre” Espero que se mantengan haciendo las cosas bien a pesar de estos tiempo dificiles que estan pasando. Y hasta ahora de todas las veces que hemos ido a alguna de las sucursales, esta fue la mejor atención que hemos recibimos, puras “buenas vibras...

With so many amazing places in Belgrano, this one is a waste of opportunity to enjoy a lovely meal elsewhere. We gave this place more chances than it deserved. Mainly because of the kids - coming from the nearby park it was very convenient to just pop by. Every dish we ever ordered was a disappointment. Pizza, pasta, risotto - all really bad. The kids even refused to drink a bland lemonade.

For these prices it’s an unfair experience. And like others already mentioned the place is that kind of dirty that you...
