Café Cultural Aleph La Boca — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Great craft beer for those visiting El Caminito. The neighbourhood is not known for great restaurants, and most of them will be too touristic, but this place is great if you want to grab a beer and a quick bite.

We had two different beers - the IPA from Bruja Mala Brewing, more "artisanal", and we also had an IPA from Andes, a more commercial argentinian beer, but it's my favourite.

Their meat empanadas, made "al horno", which means "on the oven", contrary to those that are fried, were tasty, juicy and the outter bread layer was really thin, what makes them extra special. You don't have plenty of choice, but these don't get wrong.

If you get a table at their outdoor balcony, you get a great view over the street environment without being inside...

Super nice cafe and the prices are very reasonable.

The best part about this cafe however, is it overlooks a cafe that has Tango dancers regularly and also overlooks a place with traditional Argentinian live music, so you get the best of both worlds but you're not paying an arm and a leg in prices.

The inside of this cafe is also very picturesque and reminds me of an old tea house.

O lugar em sí é legalzinho. Tudo muito caseiro, o dono é um senhor que pinta alguns quadros na frente e esporadicamente convida os turistas a entrarem no café. O melhor é ficar nas mesas de fora pq dentro tem mosquitos e o espaço é pequeno. Para comer e beber pedimos duas promoções de $135 que vinha 2 Empanadas e 1 cerveja cada promoção. Fomos em 3 pessoas. O atendimento é bem demorado, a garçonete é meio songa monga e demora pra ir até as mesas mas nada que não dê pra esperar. O ruim mesmo ficou por conta das Empanadas que eram gordurosas e não tão saborosas. Esperávamos uma qualidade da carne melhor... E o cardápio, é limitado, na opções só tinha empanada de carne.
