We've eaten twice at the Cañitas location, the first time because it looked nice as we walked by and the second time because we were with people that had eaten at the Palermo location and they said it was fantastic.
The first time we ate there it took a very long time to bring us our wine because they had to go to the cueva to find it and then when they did bring us our food there were no vegetables as listed on the menu items.
When we mentioned this to them they asked if we wanted them and, of course, we said yes since that was what we ordered. So we ended up with a cold main while waiting for our vegetables.
The second time we went they brought all our food except for one person's and, at that time, told him they didn't have what he had ordered rather than we all placed our orders.
Also, my steak was cooked beyond anything I would eat and was tough.
I told the waitress that my steak was not what I ordered ( they are not inexpensive ) and to please bring me what I ordered.
So, a portion of our party had hot food but we all wanted, like normal people, to eat together.
Everybody was done by the time I got my steak and our friend got his new order.
Then they tried to charge us for the cubiertos without ever bringing any cubiertos.
All in all, our experience there was diametrically opposed to what we hear occurs at the Palermo location.
Maybe they use it as a training facility so they have one...
Read moreBefore seating, we checked and liked the executive menu beef options and they told us they were out of vacío on the executive menu, but by the time we ordered they were out of cuadril, the only other beef dish.
We had to begrudgingly go to whole menu, ordering item by item, more expensive. They recommended the Patagonia bife with Merken spices; I said I didn’t want spicy beef but she persuaded me saying ‘it’s not really spicy hot”. I ordered rare.
Once it came, the steak was incredibly spicy and remained so after a much time-consuming attempt at removing a thick crust, totally burnt and carbonized. Even worse, the meat was overcooked, dry, well done. All the communication was in native Argentinian Spanish, so the requests were clear. To add insult to injury, when the waitress asked about the food, we stated all these problems, and she just answered “ah, ok” and made no apologies or attempt to compensate.
No manager appeared.
It really ruined the food experience for us despite a beautiful sunny day seating outside.
Expensive and a disastrous meal and experience.

Read moreWe went to this Restaurant through a friends recommendation but dissatisfied. Nice and friendly waitress took our order and after our strategy arrived she told us that they don't have asado which we have ordered. So we had to change our main course order. The steak we have ordered wasn't the right temperature we asked for and it was greasy and not tender. She never came over to ask if were enjoying the meal or not. When we asked for the bill we have shocked that they have add extras such as covers and chopped onions. When we questioned the waitress she said that every Restaurant in Argentina they add covers on top of meal which we didn't experience in other Restaurants as have been eating out nearly a week in Buenos Aires in different Restaurant. I will never go back to this Restaurant even we do stay in an apartment near by and...
