Awesome place! The elegant decoration and excellent attention make you feel like a king The moment you walk in. The food was majestic as well, there's a varied menu to choose from with several choices ranging from muzarella-stuffed gnocchi to traditional asado. What surprised me the most was the price! Sure, it's not exactly cheap, but there are lots of other fancy restaurants in the city offering similar offerings with a much higher price. And lastly, if it's your birthday, this is definitely the place to go! The waiters will give you a little unexpected surprise... (I won't spoil it for you!)

It was Friday, and randomly found for dinner. If you are feeling for BBQ skip this place (find parrilla around the corner), this is kind of chef restaurant, typically attracted adult crowd (I didn’t see family with children, which is good thing), design is elegant and old fashion. I ordered version of chicken 🍗 with papas chef style - was tasty but overall my experience is 4 out of 5

El restaurante Covadonga, ubicado en la calle Arenales, nos ofreció una experiencia culinaria excelente. Desde que llegamos, el ambiente fue muy acogedor. A pesar del frío exterior, el local estaba perfectamente climatizado, con una iluminación cálida que realzaba la hermosa decoración. Todo estaba impecable, lo que contribuyó a una atmósfera muy agradable y relajante. La atención fue sobresaliente, especialmente por parte de Pablo, quien nos dio una cálida bienvenida y estuvo pendiente de cada detalle durante toda la comida. Su amabilidad y profesionalismo hicieron que la experiencia fuera aún mejor. En cuanto a la comida, todo lo que pedimos fue delicioso y se presentó de manera impecable. Probamos las milanesitas de pollo a la tinetense y la brótola a la salsa de maracuyá, ambos platos destacaron por su sabor y presentación. Definitivamente, volvería y recomendaría Covadonga para quienes buscan una excelente comida en un ambiente cálido y con una atención de primera.

Such an absolute disappointment. Person 1 - BBQ ribs & mashed potatoes: the ribs were bland & dry, but they looked so delicious. Potatoes were somewhere between fine and good. Person 2 - chicken skewers: the meat was so dry, and despite having plums, onions and peppers, there was NO FLAVOR. I couldn’t figure out how they manage to put so much effort into something and make it an absolute disappointment. The French fries were good. Person 3 - BBQ ribs: these ribs were tender, juicy, and had some decent flavor. How did this place manage to bring out two orders of ribs and they tasted like from two different restaurants?

Covadonga was a wonderful experience. The staff is incredibly active and professional; they never linger, are fast and courteous, and are clearly exceptional at their jobs. The enormous menu was galling at first, but my wife and I ordered several different items (small jamón y queso sándwich, pumpkin stuffed with cheese and spinach, and lomo brochetta, one of my absolute favourites) and each came out reasonably fast and had been cooked deliciously to order. We also ordered a a bottle of local vina roja and agua sin gas which was delivered promptly and with flourish. I have visited here twice. The first time was good, and the second was disappointing.

The first time, we ordered set menus - often called 'menu ejectivo' here - that includes a dessert and tea, main dish, salad and a glass of wine. The price was around 10 dollars per person and the food was very delicately prepared like home made style.
