An awesome experience!

This is the first time I’ve visited Argentina before (I am from the United States of America)

I saw tons of people walking around with mate on the street, but didn’t see it listed anywhere on menus in restaurants. I was a little confused as to how so many people had it but there was no where to try it myself.

This was such a cool little shop, I was able to try mate for the first time. The person working the shop was super knowledgeable, and friendly. She showed us the entire process of how to prepare the drink and then we were able to try doing it ourselves.

Ended up buying a whole set of my own!

If you call one day ahead of time, you can schedule a longer session that also goes into the history of mate.

I would highly recommend checking them out especially if you are unfamiliar with mate in general!
