Horrible service and over priced. I made a reservation for a big group - 20 people. We paid in advance in cash for a prix fix menu. When our group arrived they were not ready for us; We needed to add two more people to the group, I offered to pay more- they said they couldn’t give them the same prix fix menu (?!?) . The appetizers took 40 minutes to arrive and were not enough for our group. They also weren’t that good. Then the main courses (there were three options, one included a guefilte fish and the other included chicken and the third were kreplaj). The main course took another 40 minutes to arrive , and the guefilte fish was inedible. Everyone left it on the plate. I felt horrible because the group were my guests for my son’s wedding the next day and I felt responsible for that. By the time the desserts came, half of our group weren’t there anymore so the desserts should have been enough for the half group that was left there. Since we were less people at the end, and we had been sitting there for almost three hours, I asked the manager if it was possible to have coffee for the people who were left there (since we had paid for the desserts for those who didn’t eat it because they left). The manager would not agree to serve the coffee for the rest of the guests, I ended up paying for it (money was not the problem, I just thought they should have been kinder to us after the big service fiasco). It was a horrible experience, food, service and all....
Read moreHorrible service. Mediocre food. We were a group of 20 tourists, and we had reserved and paid upfront 20 dollars a person for a full meal. We arrived at the time we were supposed to, but the place wasn't ready to receive us. It took them 30 minutes just to serve us bread and water. The appetizers took one hour to be served. They were ok, but the quantity wasn't near enough for 20 people. Like, 4 pieces of falafel for a table of 8... just as an example. The main courses were served almost 2 hours (!) after we arrived. We arrived at 1:30 pm and the main courses started being served around 3:20 pm. And then, the food was horrible. The gefilte fish, for example, had no taste at all, and had been complete dried and fried. It just tasted like cardboard. To finish the horror show, the dessert, which also we had paid for upfront for all 20 people, was served only at 4:30pm, three hours after we arrived, and when more than half of the people had left. And if this wasn't enough, when some of the remaining people asked for coffee, we were asked to pay extra for it! It's not the price that bothered me, but the audacity they had to ask for more money after the absolutely horrible performance they had. In short, avoid this place as the plague! Even one single star is too...
Read moreNo tuve buena experiencia.
