I really wanted to love this place, but it was just okay. It was a busy day and we had to wait about an hour for a table and service. By the time they took our order they were out of kolsch beer but they made up for it by bringing us a pint of scotch on the house. We ordered the smoked meat sandwich on ciabatta but it was just ok (especially considering the high price). Too sweet, and the homemade ciabatta was dry and tasteless. Rustic potatoes on the side could have been crispier but they were good. Cool concept and ambience, friendly service. I just expected the food...

My sister and I were out shopping on Elcano. We were actually going to another restaurant, but decided to stop here. It was an excellent decision. Salad with chicken was super-fresh with no wilted veg, and tender chicken breast pieces. The ribs were simply amazing, with lots of mellow smokey flavor. We are from Texas USA, where we are known for awesome barbecue. These smoked ribs were far better than most ribs served in our old country. The wood you use for smoking is so complex. We'll be back frequently....

In the past we used to go there, or ask for delivery. Last time the food quality droped, and today again. For smokehouse you need a good balance between cooking too much or having no smoke taste. Again, the meat was dry, after waiting for more than 30min after ordering. And that was 10min after we arrived. The lemonade was bitter and they gave us no bread.
