I WAS SCAMMED AT THIS PLACE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING! We ordered a large choripan, which they said came with fries and could be flavored, but when it arrived, it wasn't the flavor I wanted. They forced me to order a soda (which I didn't want). They said it was a house rule, but it wasn't written anywhere. When I questioned the numerous errors in the order, they refused to resolve the issue. They claimed they added fries to make up for the error in the silver choripan, but the fries were already included. I refused, saying I wasn't going to pay. They called the police to try to force me to pay, but since it was clearly a scam, the police forced us to pay for the snack because it was already prepared. We didn't have to pay for the soda because the police understood it wasn't right to force someone to consume something they didn't want. We paid and left. The place is dirty, the grill is disgusting, the sauces are left out in the open, and the food is awful for 15,000 pesos. For that price, you can eat at a decent restaurant in Recoleta. I don't recommend it, don't go there. There are countless bad reviews, but unfortunately, I haven't seen any.
ME ESTAFARON EN ESTE LUGAR. ¡NO RECOMIENDO IR!
Read moreAfter the initial shock of the crowded touristy Caminito, we zipped around the backstreets for some reprieve. We popped our heads into what looked like a big warehouse, with some quiet shops inside. Down the end, we saw an opening to a restaurant. We grabbed a table and enjoyed really great service while two very skilled guitarists played and sang some Argentine tango classics. After their set, two tango dancers started performing. The show was free but I encourage you to tip these highly-skilled artists who contribute to an amazing atmosphere and experience.
The food was great. If you haven't experienced asado yet in Argentina, this is a good opportunity. There are plenty of options and the serves were very generous, more than enough to share. All the best to this restaurant who only opened about 5 months ago. Please go and support and enjoy their peaceful part of this tourist attraction, where you will get to have a genuine experience of Buenos...
Read moreHigh price for low quality. We ordered two empanadas, the parrilla x2, two glasses of wine, and fries. We were charged $100 USD. No receipt provided and they would not take credit card. Bad sign! The empanadas were quite good, which is why I was willing to give 2 stars. The meat platter actually didn't include much meat considering the price. Kidneys and blood sausage were a large portion of the platter; which most don't eat. We watched the staff place our uneaten kidneys and blood sausage back on the main grill to serve other patrons. The steak in this meal was not ribeye, as the menu indicated, but some sort of chuck roast. The regular sausage was decent, but all the other meat was low quality and poor flavor. We had a similar size meal near the city center with much better flavor and quality for...
