We were in chacras and looked up somewhere for lunch, with good reviews we thought we would try here.. We didn't have a reservation and upon reaching the gate we were asked if we had a reservation which of course we said no. The security called and checked then we were told it's fine and we walked to the restaurant. At the entrance we were greated by a staff member who asked what we wanted, food or a tasting. We said lunch and he said okay we will have to go check if they can squeeze us in without a reservation. There were 4 tables seated and more than 10 free and 10 staff on the floor. We then asked another staff member if they have a free table and they said sit anywhere.. We were given menus with the only option being a degustation menu available. We weren't that hungry for 7 courses and asked if an a la carte menu was possible. They checked with the kitchen and that was fine. We ordered empanadas to start and bife chorizo for mains(which was a dish part of the degustation). 15 minutes later a dish we didn't order was placed on our table. We told the waitress this isn't what we ordered she went and checked and said this is ours. We waited and questioned our original waiter, he explained that the empanadas will take a short time so we were given this. Thinly sliced zucchini with cheese and pickled onion. Not something I would normally order, it was okay. 1 hour later we asked for bread. 10 minutes later we were told the bread is in the oven meanwhile other tables received bread. The empanadas arrived, they were nice. 10 minutes after the bread arrived. Another 20 minutes and our bife the chorizo arrived. We ordered it cooked "jugoso" the equivalent of medium. It came out rare. My partner returned hers to be cooked more and was questioned why she ordered it that way if she didn't want it like that. I ate some of mine as i don't return food to kitchens after having worked in one before, I know what happens with returned food. The meal was below average. At no stage did the manager come and ask how our meal or experience was as he did with other customers. Overall a very disappointing experience, I have already warned fellow travelers not to go there and heard similar complaints from locals. Btw my partner is from Argentina and the staff spoke English and Spanish so there was no language barrier or miscommunication.

Such a lovely winery! On very beautiful grounds, with a nice little pond. The tasting was incredibly informative but unpretentious and accessible - the woman doing the tasting for us explained everything in a very understandable way, and I actually felt like I learned more about wines in general from the tasting. It was AR$300/person for a tour and tasting, which I felt was reasonable given the high level of service and the amount of information they provided us with. I believe they are planning to begin exporting their wines to the US starting in the spring of 2018, which will be fantastic, as they were some of the best wines we tasted while in Mendoza. Finally, we were able to get reservations on relatively short notice - on a Friday in the summer, calling the morning of, which was great, as is not the case for all the wineries in Lujan certainly.

Cute venue. The 4-course is 1800 - 6-course (fixed) menu at 2800 (both including visit to the vineyard - not tasting, which is an additional 350). The food is fine, nothing exceptional. Note that the picture uploaded is the finest presented dish (appetizer). My starter (peach / goatcheese) was a salad with 2 slices of peach and cheap goatcheese. I asked the main dish - bife de chorize - which was well-done instead of rare. The desert was delicious. Overall, taste & presentation were ok, the wines were great (!!) but the service overall was lacking. There was no attention to detail (re-filling water/clearing the table/asking if all is good/long waiting times between dishes). My recommendation, definitely come by for the wine, but skip the food!

E Simplismente virou as costas e saiu.

Unfortunately, not what we were hoping for. It took several attempts via online booking, phone and email to get confirmation for our tasting followed by lunch. The tasting led by enthusiastic Guiliana was good. For lunch we were told our table for five was ready for us as requested on the attractive decking by the pond. On getting there we found it had been given to another group, with no other table available. We had to make do with a table away from all the other diners, with a consequent reduction in the level of service attention. No apologies offered. The table was part laid for us, but not completed. We had booked the a la carte lunch and showed the booking confirmation, but were told this was not available, and had to make do with the three course menu with limited choices offered. Again, no apology. The food was good, but steak knives only presented five minutes after the steaks had been served. Overall therefore, pretty disappointing, given we had booked and arrived with high...
