Quidu — Restaurant in El Calafate

Great service, views and fantastic food. We were here on Dec 27. The owner of this restaurant was very friendly and we(me and my wife) were seated immediately though we were early at 6:45PM(place opens at 7PM).

To start with we ordered the provolone cheese and the house wine which was Malbec. Delicious. We suggested it to the people who came to our next table and they loved it too.

The bread and the pumpkin dip which was provided at the start was great.

For our main course I had the lamb and my wife went with fish. Both were good. But the highlight was the lamb. So tender and juicy.

We finished the meal with Dulce de leche volcano with Calafate ice cream. One of the best desserts I had in our two weeks in Argentina.

Ho scelto il posto abbastanza a caso per cenare, ma è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa. Poco recensito, ma molto valido. Ho mangiato un piatto di tagliatelle ai funghi e curry con ceci entrambi squisiti. Da Italiano sono state le migliori tagliatelle mangiate in argentina. Fatte a mano, cotte al punto giusto, amalgamate bene con un buonissimo sugo ai funghi. Il riso al curry e ceci, invece, era molto delicato, ma pieno di sapore. Due piatti leggeri, salutari e buonissimi. La sala del ristorante è piccola, bella, calda e accogliente, con una meravigliosa vista sul lago argentino. Bagni puliti e ben tenuti. Not sure why the high rating unless this is a new cook and staff. Undercooked pizza, inedible mozzarella blobs in what looked like a dish designed for snails. Horrific food and dismal service. This one jumped the shark. ...
