The restaurant is 15 minutes of walking from our hotel. My wife and I arrived at 6 pm and were able to get a table overlooking Largo Argentino. We ordered trout with stir fried vegetables and risotto with mushrooms and vegetables and a glass each of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The foods were delicious, the wines were good. The staff were friendly and were able to communicate with us in English. Overall, the price was very reasonable by US standards. Overall, it was a very enjoyable diining experience.

An hour after the dinner, my mouth became very dry and I felt very thirsty, which were my typical reactions to food prepared with high MSG content. Rustico is fantastic! We were warmly welcomed without a reservation and the staff was very patient with us not knowing much Spanish. We had a beautiful table overlooking the lake. My wife had the chicken and she said it was one of the best meals of the trip and I had the ribeye which was a perfect dish. The owners and staff are working hard here and have a great business.
