Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Mar del Plata

Okay, if we had just visited this place ONE time, it wouldve gotten five stars. The chicken and bamboo soup was genuinely chinese, to which I was pleasantly surprised. It was delicious and reminded me of my grandmother's cooking.

Because the first visit was a sucess, we decided to go once more....which was a mistake.

First off, they charged us 3k pesos PER PERSON, just for a table fee....in an extremely empty restaurant. It was just me and my husband, and one other family. Its not even a fancy restaurant in the slightest, yet they charged WAY more for just the table fee than a genuinely fancy and good restaurant did (which charged us 1.5k pesos per person!!).

Aside from this, my husband got the beef and chicken chow mein...which, as an Asian American, was an absolute disaster. I'd rather eat at Panda Express for their chow mein, but seeing as asian food isn't common here in Argentina, we just wanted to give it a try. Again, mistake. Both the chicken and the beef had a bad, really funky flavor, like it was sitting in the fridge for a week after being mixed in cornstarch. It was pretty rancid. The chow mein itself was super greasy, and we couldn't eat much. The green beans within were so bitter too. Ugh.. We ended up feeling a little nauseated that night.

They excel in soup, but nothing else. The food isn't worth the price, sorry. I can understand why the restaurant was always empty when we went, aside from one other table.

Really disappointed as I was so excited to find Asian food here in Argentina. As it is, for the price and the food... I'd definitely recommend...

Attention foreigners! this Chinese restaurant will blow your mind, and make you wonder why you don't have such amazing delicious Chinese food near you back at home. Made from scratch with love, Spicy Pork and Almond Chicken are to die for. Ask for a Chow Fan or Chop Suey and discover a new level of Chinese cuisine that is very difficult to find. Can't go wrong, and with the money exchange rate, sit down and ask for anything you want and...

LAMENTABLE...Soy cliente hace un año siempre todo bien salvo alguna que otra oportunidad las empanaditas vinieron poco grasosas... anoche llamamos para que traigan a domicilio y nos dijeron no hacían delivery preguntamos hasta que hora estaban y nos dirigimos al lugar a buscar la comida como siempre.... llegamos 20 minutos antes del cierre lo cual nos dicen que ya cerró.... comunicamos que habíamos llamado anteriormente para avisar estábamos llendo y que llegamos 20 min antes ... a mala cara nos vendieron igual. Totalmente fuera de lugar nos vendieron SOBRAS ((( Si SOBRAS ))) de lo que algún comensal le ha quedado mezclaron todos los fideos partidos y recalentados.. un desastre es lamentable que por no querer cocinar me vendan sobras recalentadas los fideos largos tenían el tamaño de 5cm el más largo y recalentado parecía puré de fideos .. no es imaginación esos fideos eran sobras. Si bien no es sano ni seguro comer afuera esto ya se pasa tendrían que cerrar ese lugar, mandar bromatología o algo hare las denuncias correspondiente era la comida para mis hijos .. una...
