Maria Bonita Cocina Mexicana — Restaurant in Mar del Plata

No me gustó el lugar, ni la atención ni la comida. Muy seco el recibimiento. Nada que ver con la cultura mexicana que conozco bien. Creo que se quedó en el tiempo. Nunca nos sirvieron los nachos con dip incluidos en los cubiertos (que cobran aparte). La comida no parece fresca y recién elaborada. Las tortillas estaban amargas. Eso pasa muchas veces, porque el lugar donde se almacena la harina no está suficientemente seco y se pone rancia. Puede pasarte en tu casa pero no en un restaurant donde te cobran por ellos. La atención fue muy cortante, a pesar de que llegamos temprano y solo eramos dos mesas. Nunca vino a preguntar si necesitabamos algo. La comida tardó casi una hora y eso que era el especial de ese día. El baño no es de facil acceso (escaleras).

I did'nt like the place, the way they treated us nor the food. Nothing like the Mexican culture I know. Totally outdated. They nerver served us the nachos and dip dish they promise on the menu (they charge it additionally). Food wasn't fresh, didn't seem to be freshly made for us. Tortillas were bitter, and I know the taste because it can happen at home if you dont storage the flour in the right place, it becomes moist and spoiled. Not acceptable for a rstaurant where you actually for it. Costume service was cut short, even if we came early and there was just another table. The lady never came to check up on us, never smiled. Food took around an hour to arrive (couldnt possible take that long for a sauteed veggie and chicken little pot). The restrooms are upstairs and can not be accesed with...

If you order the fajitas you will be in Mexican heaven no doubt about that.

My only "complaint" about it was that the burritos were a little in the small side....but they were still very tasty.

My family tried 6 different plates and we're very happy with their choices.

Apparently the tequila margarita is their main drink but we missed out on that jaja

I'll start with the food. I'm very familiar with Mexican food, and when I tried their dishes, I realized it was a fusion of that cuisine. The sides were unseasoned and lacked sour cream. The quesadillas and burritos weren't made with large tortillas. The service was minimal, almost like a fast-food restaurant. A waiter should come to the table time by time to check if everything was okay, if you needed...
