Very tasty chicken kebabs (kafta). Substituted fries for salad no problem. Service good and friendly. Hummus wasn't very smooth, unfortunately, but the bread was excellent. I would give it 4.5 stars for the hummus. Everything the was lovely, though.
Update: I ate there two more times during my trip to Mendoza. On my second time I ordered the lamb kafta with fries and the fatoush salad. They also comped me a pureed beet dip with fried pita bread. It was all excellent. One thing though: for most people kafta (or kofta or whatever alternative spelling you prefer) is more of a kebab made of ground meat. This was more like shredded lamb artfully laid out. So maybe not a kafta per se (unless in Lebanon this is what kafta is), but the flavor and texture of the meat was amazing. Regarding the salad, I really, really recommend it. It was a great blend of textures and flavors, but nice and light while still being satisfying. And the dip was surprisingly good. I usually don't care for beets but this was very enjoyable.
The third time I ordered their shawarma and again the fatoush salad. A nice, flavorful wrap. The bread started to fall apart at the end, so I don't if that was intentional or just a bit too dry, but it still...
Read moreI can't believe it took 25 minutes to only prepare a sandwich of shawarma. Shawarma is fast food and if you see in the Middle East and even in Europe it takes 2 to 3 minutes for the Shawarma to be ready because it's already cooked and it's only needs to be cut to be placed in the bread. The employee told me there are people ahead of me pointing to two other tables but the other tables already finished their food so that was a lie also the bread was dry and not fresh plus the sandwich was pricey. On the other hand the sandwich was big and the meat was okay and the employees were welcoming. I would only eat there again if I have aplenty plenty of time to sit and wait and if the...
Read moreUsually whenever you fried ANYTHING, it has to taste good.. or semi good.. not here, I just ordered a falafel Sandwich and a Safija, and both were cold. The Falafel is just simple fried Garbanzo beans patti with spices, but they forgot to add any spices and they fried it maybe few days ago and now they just microwave it and put in an old tortilla. It was hardly warm, very hard from the outside and dry inside. To make it worse, no sauce in whatsoever.. I was super hungry but couldn't even eat half of it. The Safija was also cold, old, and tasteless.. very sad. It's a very nice place but been totally neglected as far...
