We ordered the chicken sandwiches and two lemonades and a brownie milkshake. The lemonades were really good, the food was ok. The milkshake is not worth trying. It's more like a cold chocolate milk with soggy bits in it.
The service was not great. Our main waitress hardly spoke to us and gave us some death stares. No thank yous or please and cutlery was just handed to you without a word and an annoyed look. The lemonades took long to arrive, but did arrive alongside the food. I would have given the place 3 stars based on that. But in the end it seems I got charged more than was on the bill. When I asked for clarification there was no real answer (to be fair it was in English, because I don't speak great Spanish, so understandable). Something about the credit card and a vague explanation and then the bill was kept. I'm not sure if it was because of a tip or what, but a tip would not have been warranted. The extra amount was only about one dollar more, but it's more about the principle than anything.
One guy behind the counter and another girl waiter were really friendly. So maybe it depends on who you get. I'd recommend to go somewhere...
Read moreCute corner cafe on one of the main touristy streets in Mendoza. So you will pay a little more to enjoy your coffee and Medialuna. The coffee is decent and the food is delicious. We tried their cappuccino, the yogurt with fruit and granola, the fruit and scrambled eggs, and pan chocolate and a large glass of fresh squeezed OJ. All Overall it was an enjoyable experience. The staff were pleasant, the bathrooms were clean, and the cafe is decorated nicely. The fresh squeezed OJ was definitely worth having again! The best thing about this cafe is they open earlier than most places so if your Mendoza adventures require an early morning start this might be the...
Read moreStopped here for a quick snack while walking g around the city. Sat down outside and the waitress promptly took my order. I unfortunately cannot comment on the food quality because I have been waiting 30 minutes to receive 1 cafe con leche and 1 croissant. I realize that service is more relaxed in Argentina than I may be used to, but unless someone is currently flying back and forth to Colombia obtain the coffee beans, this is much too long a wait for a simple...
