I went back to this place last night after a year and I felt pretty let down, prices were higher than my hometown NY for an ok meal, exactly same menu than last year and the year before. When I went to pay the check I was very surprised to pay over 250 US$ for 4 drinks and 2 appetizers, they proceed to tell me they do not take Amex, which is not really uncommon but then I ask for the dollar exchange and they told me was 25% off the market! Tourists, Beware! We dropped into Garnish on the way back from dinner tonight. Our dinner, at a restaurant rated on Google at 4.7 and “fine dining”, with cocktails, appetizers, a bottle of wine and amazing food, was about 15,200 AR (about $40 USD). At Garnish my wife and I ordered an Irish Whiskey and an Old Fashioned, and it cost us 14,800 (about $39 USD). I realize these are imported spirits as a base, but we have had the same drinks a few times in the last week at about half the cost.
