Sabores del Perú — Restaurant in Mendoza

My boyfriend and I came here on a Wednesday night trying to switch the menu after getting tired of a few meals of Parilla and all the meat during our short stay in Mendoza. The pisco sour was probably the best thing served. We ordered some water too which never came but got charged for (and we were the only customers in the restaurant..) The squid in olive sauce was way too salty, covered in a pile of probably canned olive liquid. The ‘mixed’ seafood ceviche was 90% frozen squid. Most of the pieces of the fish were still frozen on the dish... I don’t understand how this place got 4+ stars.. Also took forever to get a bill because the workers were having dinner... we had to call them out to come give us a check (AND once again we were the ONLY table in the entire...

We ordered the arroz con mariscos and a jar of maracuya. Everything tasted old and not fresh, especially the mariscos and seemed to have been microwaved. None of us could finish our plates and ended up feeding it to our dogs. The service was really good which was a shame the food was such poor quality and the price was very expensive for what you got, almost 3x more than what you would find in a high end restaurant locally and...

So, eating here was the right call the night we were visiting. The attention is superb and the food is delicious! authentique Peruvian food (I've been recently in Lima, Peru so I can tell the difference between real or not real peruvian food).

Anyways, we were there on Thursday March 14th, close to midnight, we order ceviche, octopus and salmon, and all of them were super good. 100%...
