The initial reception was good. Not the harassing hawkers a block down the street. The waiter was attentive and responsive. We ordered 2 7Up zeros, a bottle of house extra brut spumante. Appetizer- cheese, olives and fake Jamon Serrano. My wife refused to eat any of it. I picked at it , the hand cut block cheese. Olives from a can, and local Jamon. Eventually we had them pack it all up ... in what had quite recently held some product from the grocery store. Sorry, no bags available. The tortilla Española and the cazuela de mariscos arrived after a lengthy wait. From 3 feet away the fishy stench assaulted my olfactory senses. I almost barfed and fled the scene. Come on, JoE, you've eaten street food across Sub-Saharan Africa, Fiji and the Indian sub-continent, you can do this. With faith in "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger", I waded into the cancelation. It wasn't so bad, and after a while I became nose-blinded to the fishyness. The 1 piece of fish was mushy, and bony. The one peeled shrimp was good, fresh and firm. The mussels were ok. The. Calamari was sometimes good, sometimes hard and dried out from waiting to be cooked. The broth was tasty enough. Nothing to write home about. My wife really enjoyed her tortilla Española. Well browned on top. Plump and fluffy. I left half the fish and the large unpeeled shrimp uneaten in the dish. Then I decided to peel the shrimp... and the source of the stench was revealed in the inner head and guts. The body of the shrimp also elected to spontaneously auto self dismantle, revealing a nasty, mushy, smelly mess. Yetch. Take it away. We waited and waited...We paid and left only after my wife took the bill inside and forced payment. BEWARE - At the end of the meal the waiter said that they do not accept credit cards, only DEBIT cards. Ooh, the fraud potential!! But for 10% extra charge they will accept credit cards. But the 10% tip cannot be added to the credit card. I happened to have a $1000 Chilean peso note... there's your tip buddy. Food - 3 stars Service- 1 star Ambience - 3 stars, no loud booming "music" Overall - 3 stars, if you have a...

We should start by saying that service from Gabriel was exceptional. He was really great at explaining dishes given our limited Spanish, so that was really appreciated! He is definitely an asset to the restaurant.

Sadly the food on the whole was a bit of a let down. We went for the set menu, which is perhaps our own fault as the menu included a wide variety of Spanish inspired dishes which looked appetising!

First we were served warm bread with a delicious garlic dip - this was a highlight. We then ordered two empanadas (not on the set menu) which unfortunately left a lot to be desired, as they were a little tasteless. For mains we had spaghetti bolognese, which came out as tagliatelle, not spaghetti. This was ok. Desert was a fruit salad (apples in some juice), and a coffee for my partner.

Overall, the food was slightly disappointing in terms of taste, but the service was really excellent throughout. We would return to try other dishes on the menu. Thank...

Best Italian on ‘The Strip’. Outstanding value and service for their Menu del día. With a pasta dish, a huge glass of Malbec (I’m talking gigantic) and a postre. Proper Italian/Argentine restaurant. Do visit. Friendly service, pay by card or cash.
