La Capke - Restaurante — Restaurant in Municipio de Córdoba

I hear this is a family chain, and if so, it must be a lovely family. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with lots of pink. They are most known for the desserts, but the food offerings were on point too. I don't know why I can't find my photos of the foods we ordered, but I will add them later when I find them.

This location is down a small side alley with several other restaurants and bars. This La Capke is doing so well that they have a separate seating area adjacent in this alley. All the people I spoke with locally know of them, and I actually went twice because two separate people chose it as our meeting place.

Everything was clean, and the staff were professional.

I really like this place! I understand that people might have had unpleasant experiences. I'd recommend giving them another chance. I visited this place twice and never had an issue. The cakes are incredible and huge! I visited La Capke twice. Two different months. The portions were too big for me both times. The cake was really good and I think that's the café's thing. I also tried their chicken sandwich and it also seemed quite big for me. I mean it in a positive way! The service was nice, quick and helpful. We went there on a Sunday afternoon for brunch and originally each got a sandwich with fish. Sadly they only had enough for one sandwich so we had to change our order (as they were also out of avocado). We ended up with a toast with scrambled egg, bacon and cheese wich was fine but not great according to my partner. The fish sandwich on the other hand was great, I loved it and it remembered me a lot of the fish salad we have in Germany.
