Marito's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Municipio de Purmamarca

We had dinner here and enjoyed a lot the atmosphere and the live music. The place is big and with good ventilation. We had the medallions of Quinoa and beef Milanesa. The portions were big and good food. We however thought the dessert was too expensive for what it was; we had the Quinoa Flan, and it was delicious but too small for 8,000 pesos (almost 8 dollars). They also charge for the bread that they give as entrée. You can pay with foreign cards which is good, but they charge 10%...

Tengo opiniones encontradas respecto a este lugar. Tema comida, nos pareció muuuy mala para los precios que manejan, es increíble que sea más caro que Los Morteros (googlealo, pero a mí gusto el lugar más exquisito de Purma, platos de otro nivel). En Marito el locro por ejemplo no tenía casi sabor y fue el peor que comimos hasta ahora en el norte (y el más caro), pedimos una mila también que pasó sin pena ni gloria, y la copa con helado de Cayote muy básica también... No me hubiera molestado tanto si hubiera sido una comida económica, pero es la carta más cara que vimos en Purma, por ese precio uno espera MUCHO más. PERO, aún así en Marito pasamos una de las noches más divertidas del viaje y fue gracias a los chicos de Canto Joven, unos genios totales y la mejor peña en la que estuvimos hasta ahora (creo que la clave es que también cantaron muchos temas "conocidos" pero en versión folclore). CONCLUSION = No dejes de ir a Marito si estás en Purma, pero anda tipo 22, pedite una cerveza y disfruta del show, antes anda a cenar a otro lado. Si pensas ir solo a comer y no hay show en ese horario, hui! Hay lugares mucho más ricos y encima más baratos a metros...

Unfortunately the food was terrible. Tasted old! At the end we were going to pay with visa and they charged us an additional 10%.
