I am an extremely picky person and probably the most picky person you’ll ever meet. So 4 or 5 out of 5 or anything 7.5 or higher out of 10 is really an achievement for that restaurant. In that case, here is my review, by Nicolas! I would give this restaurant an 8.5/10!!!
This steak house was amazing! It has a great view of the melted andes mountain snow, and the steaks were pretty good, a solid 8/10, but, the MOUNTAIN IF PERFECTLY CUT SHOESTRING MINI FRIED WERE THE BEST FRIES I’ve EVER had!! French Fries were 10/10! The service was normal, and the theme of the restaurant was good, too! This didn’t make it to a 10/10 because of the steak, and it’s not like it was something super, super, amazing.

Read moreThe best steak (beef tenderloin) I've ever eaten in my life! Wow! The restaurant is simple and classic, and the food was sensational. Our waiter Marcelo was very friendly and very attentive. The food was a bit on the pricier side, but still much cheaper than other upmarket restaurants (tourist traps) around Bariloche. The provoleta to start was delicious, the steaks ojo de bife (rib eye) and lomo (beef tenderloin), salad and fries were all delicious. We were too full for dessert. I highly recommend a visit if you are looking to experience a true, traditional argentinian steak...

good food, terrible service. The attention to detail lacked completely. my plate was dirty, the steak was over cooked, the salad came in a serving dish with no plate to eat from and no dressing. No one checked on us after delivering the food. I had to hail someone down to ask for dressing. Additionally, I asked for tap water and they told me that bottled water was the only option; "no es segura" - "it is not guaranteed [to be safe]."
