This review is only relevant to the restaurant. The atmosphere and decor is lovely. Unfortunately we had a terrible evening. Our order got lost in a disorganized shift change which we understand can happen. We sat for 40 minutes waiting for drinks, half our food order arrived 90 minutes later after complaining. The pasta wasn’t cooked and 2 full meals were missing. The waitress in charge was kind but unsupported by her manager. They brought us food we didn’t order because it was fast (fries and sandwhich) and charged us for everything. There was no apology from the manager or acknowledgement aside from a 10% discount. I visited the restaurant last year and I fall in love with the architecture and every detail of this building not knowing there was also a boutique hotel. When I found out of the boutique hotel I planned to stay here next time I visit my city of Villa Carlos Paz, which I did this month when I traveled with my husband. Juan Pablo, Gonzalo, the cleaning ladies and all the servers at the restaurant were great, polite and always had a smile. They all are very polite and always offering if anything was needed. The rooms are a bit small in size but comfortable after all if you are vacationing you only go to your room to sleep! Food was great, amenities are well thought. This is a very special alchemical place of magic. On arrival we had a pair of hawks circling the moon. We had a meteor fly overhead, the eclipse, and at least a few nights an owl flew over the roof deck. Symbols and artwork adorn floors ceilings and walls. Master metal and brickwork. We took most of our meals here as well, because they were all excellent and the menu was comprehensive. The courtyard patio provided a very romantic setting to dine. A thrice great mage surely has graced these grounds. The people of Villa Carlos Paz were very friendly. This place is a must see/stay...
