I rarely write reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others. If I could give zero stars, I would. We started with a so-called Greek salad, but what arrived was a pile of wilted, old lettuce that looked unappetizing. When we asked for it to be remade, the waiter dismissed our concerns, insisting it looked fine and threatened to charge us regardless.
The nightmare continued with our main courses. I ordered agnolotis, only to receive a version completely lacking cheese, which is essential for the dish’s flavor. Ordered a a curry with rice that turned out to be a thin, under-seasoned soup—a far cry from the authentic meal we were expecting.
To top it off, when we finally asked for the check, the staff made us hunt it down instead of bringing it to our table. The overall service was inattentive and unprofessional, and the entire experience left a very bitter taste. I had trout agnolloti, which were good, and we also had calamari ink tagliatelle, and the Pad Thai, both great choices as well. The service was very friendly, and the wine they suggested was very good. Desserts were the best: the chocolate one is king. El camarero no pudo reconocer el.vino que pedimos, por cierto de la carta, y tardó más de 4 minutos en darse maña para sacar el corcho de la botella lo que muestra su falta total de conocimiento sobre la carta de vinos y sobre como se descorcha una botella normal. Repitió 3 veces lo anotado de nuestros pedidos lo que es exagerado control o falta de seguridad sobre lo que el mismo anota. Las rabas eran flacas y su alioli muy alimonado, el brie con crocante de maní estaba frío. El risotto de hongos fue bueno igual que la sopa y la pasta rellena aunque sin aristas sobresalientes. Los comentarios sobre el Thai Pad y el goulash fueron apenas regulares. Cuando se acabó el pan hubo que reclamarlo al igual que el hielo y la segunda botella de agua. Colmó nuestra paciencia que el camarero ignoró nuestra mano levantada por minutos cansados de esperar que levantará la mesa y nos ofreciera postres, los que al final, comimos en otro lado hartos de la tardanza. Entendemos que la cocina sea lenta en esta época del año pero que el camarero esté mal entrenado o no ponga garra en el trabajo es más de lo que un negocio puede soportar.
