Blossom San Isidro — Restaurant in San Isidro

I’m not sure who owns this place but it’s an embarrassment to say the least. Let me provide some information to share my experience. Looking for a table for 3 for myself, wife and grandmother. It’s Wednesday 10pm so not expecting any great deal of traffic but they’re busier than usual and they let us know in advance they’re a bit short staffed, no problem. We’re seated for 40 minutes and we had nothing on the table. Not even a glass of water that we had asked for. The waitress was nice you can tell she was overwhelmed so not entirely her fault.

Now we’ve ordered food and in the time we’re waiting I witness a chef in the kitchen picking her nose and a server dropping silverware on the floor then wrapping them for customer use. Food has arrived, one person gets veal that looks like a terrible cut of meat. (I wish I took a photo) It’s the most gruesome cut you’ll ever see considering it’s veal and supposed to be a little more refined. I got ribs, absolutely zero flavor and there’s this bbq paste on it that’s over salted so the parts that have it are inedible. Third plate is pasta, simple enough. That was still a disaster, you can tell it was old from the way it looked and the texture of the sauce. Spoke to manager of the kitchen and explained the pasta hadn’t been touched and we didn’t want to pay for it, did they take it from the check? No. Thus removing all odds of us returning. All in all; waitress was nice but food was garbage. Ice cream shop downstairs is a joke also. Just bad service through and through.

What a disgrace. The only thing worth while at this restaurant is the view, so I implore every person looking to dine here to just admire the view from outside and then be on your way to a respectable establishment. While the waitstaff is slow to serve you I will say that I don’t really blame them much because they seem to be pretty busy but the food? I took one bite and never picked up my fork again. My pasta was cold, bland and dry. Not a single person in my party enjoyed their meal and when we spoke to those in charge they didn’t care much about customer satisfaction. We even went downstairs after our meal for dessert to try and save the night but found that to be its own misery because after we paid for the ice cream no attendants were there to help. They were attending to other things and noticeably ignoring us. Other notable moments of the night include watching a cook pick their nose and a waitress pick up silverware from the ground and put it back in the clean bucket. Went there early on a weekday (Monday) hoping to get a table on the terrace. It was three of us. We were told all the terrace tables were reserved, although more than 1/2 were empty. Fair enough, we didn't have a reservation so we took a table on the ground floor. While we were dining, another party of four were seated at the terrace.
