La Serena del Río — Restaurant in Tigre

The location and ambience are excellent! The service was relaxed yet quick at the same time. Our server was extremely helpful (and patient with us). We had the Milanesa Napolitana con Papas Fritas, Empanada Bondiola, Empanada Jamon y Queso, and a Frita. All are recommended. The Milanesa could easily be shared. All portions were plentiful and the pricing was very reasonable. We did see some negative reviews regarding La Serena and feel that they are wholly undeserved. We have been back multiple times. Nazarena and Victoria have always taken excellent care of us. Last time out we had the pizza napolitana....it was...

Very tasty wraps and hamburgers, good salads, and the milanesa is delicious. The chocotorta is absolutely fabulous. Also a good spot for coffee or a refreshment. Excellent and friendly service. The outside deck is a must for a sunny outdoor lunch or warm evening dinner with great view to the river. Good heating inside for colder nights. Great choices for drinks. Pet friendly. Deffinitely worth the walk on the riverbank enjoying the views...

El lugar es agradable sobre todo por la terracita con vista al río. La pizza mitad rúcula con parmesano mitad cebolla caramelizada estuvo bien. Hastá aquí las buenas...las malas: mi pareja se levantó y fué hasta la caja para que nos atendieran, aún así tardaron entre 15 y 20 min en limpiar la mesa anterior y traernos la carta. Luego otros 10 a 15 min en levantarnos el pedido...pedimos de entrada unas muzzarelitas y la mencionada pizza. Cuando trajeron las muzzarellas (frias) aún no teníamos cubiertos ni vasos y mucho menos bebidas...nunca vi una cosa igual. Pedí una cerveza Apa artesanal que era realmente horrible y ácida...tardaron mas de 10 min en traer la cuenta y tuve que ir hasta la caja a pedir el vuelto ya que habían pasado otros 10 o 15 min. Desde que habíamos pagado. Todo esto se comprende si además les digo que fuimos atendidos por 4 mozos/as distintos/as. Los/as chicos/as eran amables y bien predispuestos pero evidentemente el nivel de organización es nulo....así que señores dueños de Tim pónganse las pilas e inviertan unas horas en capacitar al personal y si es necesario...
