I liked this place and would come back despite minor negatives. Firstly, see my photo for where you can enter (there are two entrances, possibly, ours was from like a very modest narroe road right from the Ozon collection point. Large space, tables for 2-16 under trees, and under roof. Not too many visitors, not too many staff but all busy with various jobs in this very big household. Ours was a very positive waitress. She wasn't in a hurry but there were no time when we would wait. Huge negative -the menu should be rewritten, both English and Russian versions have grammar mistakes, but most importantly can be misleading in portion sizes and prices. Note they can serve 1kg but also 3kg fish, good to make sure, also ask about other portion sizes. Saying that, in a company of 7 we were completelynsatisfied by price/volume. Details Mountain sorrel soup was great, but some grain in it was undercooked and hard; Beans, pepper and carrot salsd - absolute joy; *Compote was cherry in our case-good, mint and pear-great, lemonade -bitter, but then real lemonade should be a bit bitter. Herbal tea-thyme and mint-very healing! *Aubergine cold rolls and hot aubergines stuffed with meat -great; *The stop show was a grilled sterling, very tasty and looks impressive (2.7kg for 7). Mind you, those who know how, eat the head too, if cooked right. This particular head wasn't perfect, but ok. But the steaks were delicious. Fat sterling is more suited for grilling than gentle trout, so I recommend that, if you choose it. Izly Kovta (forgive me if spelling is wrong) was tasty, my kids loved it.
Each of us ordered separately, but then inevitably were curious and shared. That works, because by default they serve as cooked. Do say if you want it all at the same time.
At the end of our dinner and what we tjought was a slow conversation in the shade of trees we had a funny pause trying to find anyone to accept our payment. I think this is because you are supposed to spend even more time enjoying after...
Read moreWas very busy and basically full of small and big groups of tourists during a sunny, weekday lunch
Food was good, the gata was great, and you can see fresh lavash being made
There were four toilet stalls of decent cleanliness
Things to note: you will be told not to feed the two very cute cats you will smell cow manure/fertiliser as you walk in there are many small flying insects in the garden so close...
