Alpine Deli - Vietnamese Meat Rolls — Restaurant in Adelaide

Ok so it's taken me a while to write up on Alpine Deli and in the three months since moving to the area and have been coming often, nothing has changed and I need to rate this amazing and very friendly store. I can honestly say it's the best banh mi and noodle bowls, not only in the Le Fevre peninsula but in all of Adelaide and I'm not exaggerating.

My photos won't do it justice though as I've usually wiped out half of the food already or am too hungry to think of taking worthy photos.

Run by a very kind and friendly family, they put their love and soul into the food they make and all is home made on premises.

Moving from Sydney to Adelaide two years ago where we were spoilt for voice with Vietnamese food, and having also travelled to Vietnam twice before, we have got accustomed to good and old school Vietnamese food, and became quite fussy with it too. Was hard to find good banh mi and other Vietnamese dishes in Adelaide, although plentiful, but after moving to the peninsula and discovered this place, we now know where the good stuff is.

They do the grilled meat balls (nem nướng) better than anywhere else in Australia that I've tried, full of flavour, just the right sweetness and savoury. Goes well in banh mi and the noodle bowls too, with just the right amount of condiments and not full of noodles as a filler. The sauce they use also is unique in where it has just the right amount of savoury taste and not overly fishy like some places.

They have the usual pork and chicken fillings as well, and amazing home made spring rolls and dim Sims, nothing like what I've had before. They occasionally do pho and soups but sell out quite early.

I would definitely recommend Alpine Deli for some good Vietnamese food and well worth the trip if you are not from the area. They also do lotto so you can get this done while getting some...

This is my regular Viet roll place and I go here so regularly it has the most lovely staff that care about people and making sure you get a really good deal. They are cheaper Han fast food places and have better quality couldn't recommend a better Viet roll...
