La Porta Pizzeria Restaurant — Restaurant in Adelaide

After spending over $75 for my family's meal they forgot the drink forgot the papadams messed up the order was rude when I called up to complain and said that I messed up the order when I ordered Yet the menu does not specify certain topping in one of the pizzas so I didn't ask for it without it. The man I spoke to said the pizza come WITH that certain topping which wasn't on the menu and continued to be rude when speaking to me The prawn meal which was almost $30 wait it was served on a bed of rice but it came as a small half cup shape turned out ( like a sand castle) on the side and the prawns were sloppy and not very nice taste The meal would not have even filled up a child let alone an adult Almost $17 for wedges with cheese and bacon which I thought was like a creamy sauce poured over but no small pinch of bacon cubes and a little bit of grated sheese melted over the top Definately not worth the money or the rudeness from the staff 1000% will never go back here again. Would not recommend to anyone to eat here If I could give less than 1...

THIS IS THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN ADELAIDE!! If you want authentic, delicious Italian cuisine, this is the place to go. The serving size here is massive and very affordable for such high quality and delicious dishes. Every single item we ordered from the arancini balls, squid ink pasta, mussels, La porta pasta (all are definitely must tries as well!)... I could not find one thing to fault about the dishes. Massive portions for each meal and when we were completely full, we couldn't stop eating because everything was so good!! And not to forget the sticky date pudding for dessert, was absolutely spectacular, you'd be dumb not to order it; it was honestly perfect, definitely recommend!!!!

In conclusion, my friends and I loved the food, atmosphere, service, basically everything. Don't walk, RUN to La porta, it's a hidden gem and I can't wait to go back. Plus the family that owns La Porta are absolutely...

My wife wanted to try La Porta as all she has seen are great reviews. I beg to differ. We waited a good hour plus before we got our meal. We ordered the Seafood platter for 2. The fish & Calamari Rings were over cooked. The Salt & Pepper squid & Prawns were lovely. The oysters were great. On the whole I thought it over priced & under value. We also had to get up and go to the counter to get water for the table, as the waiting staff just kept avoiding either looking at the table or coming over in that general versinity. It was like we were too much of a hassle. One glass of wine each, table water & the seafood platter. Yep, a major hassle. We also witnessed a lady get served a meal that she didn't order. She wasn't happy about that & left. My wife wants to try them again, but this time ordering pasta dishes. I'm not in any hurry to return.
